I am sick Carol is alone here is a short story with what happens to her after being exiled by Idiot Rick.

From One Nightmare to another.

Chapter 1

Carol was exhausted but she drove, and knew she had to find a safe place to stop, and sleep. She hit the steering wheel with her hand. She hated herself but she hated Rick more. She has done so much for the Group, and she knew what she confessed to was wrong but Rick threw her away like she was used garbage. He didn't give her a chance to go back, and explain herself or at least say goodbye to the girls, and Daryl. She promised their Father she would take care of them, and she let them down just like she let Sophia down. Carol was driving for a about 20 minutes, and realized their was something strange going on. She did not see one single walker in miles, and that was strange. She looked at the gas light, and it was showing her she was close to empty. She drove all night scared to stop, and now she was running out of gas. How can she get any out this far. She kept driving , and the car started to die out, and she stopped knowing she had no other choice but walk. She hoped her luck continued seeing no walkers but she knew that wouldn't happen. She got out of the car, and grabbed her bag, and a canteen of water, and a blanket, she knew she couldn't carry much else. She looked around, and just started walking. She had no where to go she would walk until she found somewhere to rest. She had to focus she was kind of shocked she was not scared she was angry, and she knew she would never go back she is not welcome there. She would miss a few people especially the girls, and Daryl but they were better off without her. She knew Rick was wrong she changed but what did he expect after all the crap she has gone through. She survived one abusive man in her life, and she lost her only child, and if she was going to be honest she blamed Rick for it. He had her in his arms, and he let her go telling her to run back to the group while he tried to fend off the walkers. She was a child how could he just let her go because she didn't make it back to the group she died either that day or not long after. They all made mistakes who was he to judge. His own son was a cold blooded killer Hershel even told Rick Carl killed that kid in cold blood. Rick took his gun away, and went on pretending everything would be fine now that he talked to Carl.

Rick was no leader Daryl even Glenn would be a better leader. She would trust Michone as leader she wiped a tear from her eyes she knew she had to forget about the group, and start her life over again. She kept walking it felt like she walked for hours when she saw a Beautiful Ranch it looked like it was not touched by this Vial disgusting World that she has been living in. She stood looking at the Ranch , and she saw no one around. She started walking almost running she needed to find shelter, and if the Ranch was abandoned she could rest for the night, and move on in the morning. She got to the front of the Ranch and was about to walk up the steps when she heard a voice making her turn thinking it was a Walker . She pulled out her knife, and pointed it but put it down when a little girl pointed at her, and said.

"Mama"

Carol was confused she looked around who would leave a little girl no older than 3 or 4 all alone when Walkers could be close. Carol walked over, and knelt down, and said.

"Where is your Mommy and Daddy Sweetie"?

Then little girl was so cute she had brown hair in pigtails, and she was wearing a dress that looked like it was clean. She knew someone else was here this child was well taken care of.

Carol stood up as the little girl said again, "Mama" Carol didn't get a chance to look around before someone hit her on the back on the head knocking her out cold. The little girl walked over touching Carol's hand as a man lifted her up, and carried her into the house telling his Daughter to follow.

Great start to your new story Jessie. I am also sick that Carol is alone after Rick exiled her from the group. Rick is an idiot for exiling Carol from the group after everything she has done for the group. I hope that Carol is going to be ok in your new story. Please don't let Carol die in your story. I feel bad that Carol got hit over the head in the first chapter of your story after she found the ranch to use for shelter. I hope you update this awesome story you are writing about Carol again really really soon.

Chapter 2

Carol woke up she tried to sit up but her head was pounding. She knew it was not a walker that attacked her she sat up looking around the room, and noticed her weapons were gone. She was trying to concentrate but her pounding head was not helping. She heard the door opening, and Carol jumped up, and grabbed a lamp thinking she needed something to protect herself. She saw the little girl come in carrying a glass of water, and she looked up seeing a man coming in behind her carrying a plate of some kind of food. Carol for a minute thought to herself he was sure handsome he was clean wearing jeans, and a tee shirt.

The little girl walked over handing Carol the water as she said, "Here Mama"

"Why is she calling me Mama I am not her Mother"?

"Must you scare her"?

"Scare her you hit me over the head , and I wake up in here so excuse me for being rude"

"I understand you are angry but you were on my property"

"Well you could have just told me to leave, I will go just give me my knifes back, and I will be on my way"

"Here is something to eat starting tomorrow you will sit down with me, and we will discuss you duties around here"

"Pardon I am leaving , and I am leaving now"

"Emma go to your room now please"

"No I want to talk to Mama"

"Emma listen to me,  go now or no playtime before bed"

Emma ran out of the room, he shut the door, and leaned against it.

"I have some fresh water in the washroom for you to clean up. I put some clean clothes out for you. I will talk to you after you clean up"

"I'm leaving" Carol went to walk past him but he put his hand on the door, and whispered.

"Emma has been looking for a Motherly figure for 2 years after her Mama died. She never took to anyone but she likes you, and I don't think I can let my little girl down. I don't want to hurt you so please don't fight me. Lets take you to the washroom the water will get cold. I am sorry I hurt you earlier but I knew you would not come in willingly. I will let you roam around one day after you realize this is your home now"

"God I think I would rather deal with Walkers"

"There has been no walkers here for months, lets go" Carol followed he took her to the bathroom the bathtub was full , and it even had suds. Her whole body ached, and she was tired so she said she would like some privacy. He shut the door, Carol walked over stripping her clothes, and got in the tub. The water was heavenly it was soothing her aching bones, and she shut her eyes, and tried to forget what was happening to her , and just enjoy this luxury because she may never have a chance like this again. She finally got out, and was going to put on her dirty clothes but she walked over looking at what he put out for her. She knew the clothes would fit she can't remember the last time she wore a dress. She put it on, and she walked over looking at the mirror as she touched her face. She has aged so much she didn't recognize herself. She looked over seeing make up, and other stuff she went over going through it. She put some cream on her arms, and legs, and face. She smiled as she put a little blush on, and she used her hands to fix her hair. She walked over to the door, and opened it, and came out wondering where this man was. She walked downstairs slowly as she hit the bottom step she saw the man come out of the kitchen . He smiled as he walked over, and said.

"You look very pretty I knew you would enjoy a nice bath"

"I would enjoy it more if you would let me go"

"Please Emma will be down any minute we have half an hour playtime before she goes to bed. I want you to try, and make my little girl happy again"

"I am not her Mother I am sorry she died but I am not Mother Material"

"I think you are wrong Emma is a great Judge of character, and she likes you"

"God am I living in the Wizard of Oz if so will I wake up from this nightmare"

He laughed, "You are a fighter, and cute especially when you are angry"

Carol stared at him he finally said, "My name is Alex, what is your name"?

"Carol"

"Well Carol why don't you go up, and get Emma, and bring our girl down to play"

Carol turned walking upstairs she turned looking at him as she felt like she couldn't breath. She didn't know what was in her future but she was scared but she knew she could handle herself but she knew Alex was just trying to make his daughter happy but holding someone against their will was not the right way of doing it.

Great update Jessie. OMG I feel horrible for Carol in your story and also feel bad for Alex's little girl Emma in your story for wanting PCarol for a mother after her own mother died 2 years earlier. Please don't let Alex hurt Emma or Carol in your story. Poor Carol has traded in one nightmare for another. I hope you update this awesom story again really soon. Again Rick is an idiot for exiling Carol from the group.

Chapter 3

Carol walked into Emma's room, and Emma was sitting on the floor playing with a doll. She saw Carol, and she got up running over to her hugging her around the legs.

"Emma it is playtime, are you ready to go downstairs to play with your Father"?

"And you Mama"

"Emma I am not your Mommy"

"Yes Daddy said"

"Daddy said what Sweetie"

"He would find me a Mommy, and I want you"

Carol hated hurting a child but she couldn't do this.

"I am not your Mommy please go downstairs and see your Father, I am going to my room to rest"

"No you have to play"?

"I said no I have a headache, and I am tired "

Emma ran out of the room crying, "Daddy Mommy won't play with us you said she would"

Carol walked to the room he had her in, and shut the door, and walked over sitting on the bed. She knew tonight when Emma and Alex were sleeping she was going to get out of this place. She was about to lay back when the door slammed open, and Alex came in, and he was angry but Carol was angry too.

"How dare you hurt my little girl, I asked one thing of you , and you couldn't respect my wishes"

"How dare you come in here, and expect me to be a Mother to your child. I came to your place thinking it was deserted, I didn't come here to be held against my wishes. I am going to lay down, and you will leave me alone" Carol yelled at him, but Alex grabbed her arm and that was the worst mistake she turned, and knocked him to the ground.

"Don't you dare touch me ever again or I will kill you"

Alex got up, "Are you insane I was not going to hurt you, are you crazy"?

"Yes I killed two people, and I was banned from my group after 4 years of being part of it. I am insane alright, so let me go"

"Hell no you will just have to sit in here, and when you realize this is where you will be from now on it will be easier on you"

Alex walked over to the door, and slammed it shut locking her in which made her crazy,. She ran over screaming , "Let me out you freak, I swear I will hurt you". She kept banging than she turned looking at the room, and she basically destroyed the room , and after she sat on the floor putting her hand to her face as she whispered.

"God haven't I been punished enough " She sat there for the longest time when the door opened, and Alex stood there with a broom, and a dust pan he threw it on the floor, and said.

"Clean up the mess you made, and tomorrow we will discuss what this little outburst will cost you".

"You can't keep me here I swear I will hurt you"

Alex smiled, "You better get your rest Emma will be up at 5, and you will be making breakfast, and trust me you don't want to make me angry you really don't" Alex shut the door Carol yelled, "Bring me my Knife, and I will show you what angry looks like". She sat there, and finally she got up cleaning the mess, and after she crawled in bed, and just laid there feeling so cold inside her life has been nothing but heartache, and pain, and she was so tired of it. She shut her eyes, and fell asleep.

Great update Jessie. Poor Carol and Emma in this story. I don't blame Carol one bit for destroying the room that she is being locked in against her will I HATE Alex and Rick both her hurting Carol. I hope that things get better for Carol and Emma really soon. I hate seeing Carol and Emma in so much pain at the hands of Alex. I hope you update this awesome Carol story that you are writing again really soon.

Chapter 4

Carol woke up she had a nightmare she looked around the room, she was somewhere safe, and clean but she missed the group. Who was she kidding she missed Daryl, Judith, Maggie, and the girls. She got off the bed, and walked over to the bedroom door she was going to go to the washroom but when she turned the knob it was locked, and she couldn't believe Alex locked her in. She started yelling not caring if she woke up Emma too how dare he keep her against her will.

She kept yelling when Alex finally opened the door, and yelled.

"Are you crazy are you trying to wake Emma up"?

"You locked me in"?

"Yes for now you are not thinking straight"

"Me you think you can just kidnap someone , and keep them for your personal slave. I am not Emma's Mother, and I am leaving here, and I am leaving first thing in the morning"

"Where are you going"?

"I don't know anywhere but here"?

"You are alone Carol you were banished from your group after 4 years, and is anyone here knocking down the door looking for you. You have no one so what is so wrong staying here. You are safe, I am not asking much of you. I need Emma to be happy, and I will protect you both"

"I can protect myself give me my weapons back"

"You just confessed you killed two people in your group what would you do to complete Strangers"?

"I would never hurt Emma but I can't say I wouldn't hurt you"

Alex smiled, "God you have a Temper is that why you have the short hair because you so want to be like one of the guys. I got your number Carol you are trying to put a shield around yourself, and you want to act so tough, and angry, because you don't want anyone to know you are scared, and you don't want anyone to see you have a heart under all that nastiness"

"I have been through hell way before this world changed into a Horror story with walking Dead People. I keep hoping I would wake up, and realize this was a dream but than I would still be in the hell I was before it started"

"What happen to you in your life Carol"?

"None of your business, I am leaving this place, I would rather face walkers any day over you"

"You would rather be out there all alone than here with us"

"I will survive"

"Maybe for a few days but after a few days you will soon realize being here is a gift not a punishment"

Carol walked past him, and went to the washroom shutting the door as Alex stood waiting for her to come out. He knew he shouldn't lock her in but he knew when he woke up she would be gone. He was going crazy having no one to talk to. He had Emma but she was a child he needed a Adult but if she truly hated it here what could he do? He heard the bathroom door open Carol walked to her room, and stopped in front of Alex.

"I will stay a few days, and I will help out with Emma but I don't want to be locked up"

"Carol I have a little girl to worry about"

"If you think I will hurt her I will leave right now" Carol walked over grabbing her bag. She grabbed her dirty pants, and blouse, and said she was going to change, and be gone as soon as she got dressed.

'Wait I will not lock the door, I trust you"

"You lie but thank you"

Alex turned, and walked out leaving the door open. Carol walked to the window, and was looking out it was so dark but she shut her eyes, and dreamed of the only man in her life she felt so much love for. She wondered if he would even care that she was gone. She hated herself as she started to cry regretting that she put herself in this situation. She did it because she cared, and now she was in her own personal Hell , and the sad part she knew it was her fault but she hated Rick with every fiber of her being, and she hoped one day she will come face to face to him, and she can make him feel half as bad as she feel right this moment.

Chapter 5

The next morning Alex got up, and looked in, and saw Emma still asleep. He walked down the hall to wake Carol up, but he stood in shock she was not in her room. He was a fool he left the door open, and she left the house, and now he would have to explain to his Daughter that Carol up, and left without saying goodbye at least. He walked downstairs thinking he needed to have a coffee he was sure happy before this nightmare started he had bought so much coffee , and it lasted this long, but soon he would be out of it, and he dreaded that day. He walked into the kitchen, and was shocked to see Carol there by the stove making breakfast.

'Carol"

Carol turned, "Good morning I couldn't sleep so I came down to start breakfast. I am making eggs do you know how much I have longed for a good scrambled egg breakfast"

"I have chickens out back, and I get a good supply of eggs so you don't have to long for them you can have them anytime"

"I don't get it you are basically sheltered from the outside world, and you have a garden, and chicken's and God knows what else"

"Yeah I have it better than most but I lost my wife from this virus she went into town, and that day everything happened, and I lost her. I went looking for her with Emma, and found her near a Pharmacy she was one of them. I left her there I should have ended her life but I couldn't my Daughter was there. I don't know if she is still walking around she would hate me for not ending it"

"I am sorry Alex"

"I am sorry for Emma she needs her Mom"

"She has her Daddy, and I can tell you love her Alex"

"More than anything, I try to shelter her from the outside world. I have to go out, and find supplies soon because we are running out of supplies"

"I can do it for you Alex"

"No you can stay here with Emma, and if anything happens you will take care of her for me right"?

"She needs her Father not me"

"Carol I can see you are so angry with the world, but why don't you let me help you"?

Carol smiled, "Help me how"?

Alex walked over, "Talk to me I am a good listener"

"Go get Emma up for Breakfast everything is ready" Carol said

"Ok but can I ask you one question first"?

"Yes but I can't tell you if I will answer you until I hear the question"

"Who is the guy you miss so much is it this guy that sent you away"?

"No it is a friend but after Rick told him what I did he probably is glad I'm gone too"

"Why did you kill those two people"?

"I don't want to talk about it with you or anyone"

'God woman why are you so stubborn"

"Why do you continue to annoy me can you get your child, and can we eat"

"Fine" Alex walked out, and Carol walked over to the counter, and looked out the kitchen window. She had tears streaming down her cheek as she whispered, "Daryl I thought you would come looking for me, I guess I really didn't matter to anyone in this world". She wiped the tears from her cheek as she grabbed the plates, and set the table. She was never going to let anyone hurt her again, and to do that she had to built a wall around herself, and never let anyone break it down.

Chapter 6

Emma came running into the kitchen carrying her doll as she tried to get up on her seat. Carol walked over helping her but Emma dropped her doll. Carol lifted it up, and went to hand it to Emma but she said.

"Here Sophia are you ready for Breakfast"?

Alex came in, and smiled, "Sophia that is not her name"

Carol realized what she did, and whispered, "Sorry"

Carol walked over getting Emma's plate, and put it in front of her.

"I don't like eggs they are yucky"

Carol looked over at Alex who walked over, and said. "I should have told you she likes Oatmeal"

"Yeah you should have told me, I guess you have more eggs" Alex sat down as Carol took Emma's plate, and put it in front of Alex, and she brought the other plate she made for him, and put it in front of him too.

"Wow this looks good I'm starving"

"Great because wasting eggs when so many people are starving eating less than this in a days".

"I don't need a lecture Carol I know that"

"Really I will shut up than God all you men are the same". Carol walked over getting Emma's oatmeal, and than she got her plate , and sat down after getting coffee for Alex.

"You are only eating a egg are you serious"

"Yeah I am not really hungry"

"You will get sick is that what you want Carol'?

'I don't need a lecture either Alex I will eat what I want"

They all were eating Emma was talking but Carol smiled but Alex could see she was distant, and it bothered him.

'Carol you can be excused"

"Pardon"

"You are in a mood, and I don't need my Daughter to see it"

Carol got up, and walked out of the kitchen making Emma put her head down, and Alex told her to eat.

''What is wrong with Mommy Daddy'?

"She is sad but Sweetie she is not Mommy but I promise you she will realize how lucky she is to be here with us"

Emma smiled as she continued to eat after breakfast Alex told Emma to go to her room, and play. He noticed Carol was sitting out on the veranda on the ledge just looking over the land. Alex went outside, and Carol didn't even turn to look at him.

'Carol can I speak to you"?

'Yeah it is your place, I can't stop you"

'Are you always this cold, and distant"

"Are you calling me a "

Alex yelled, "Stop this now , I am trying to make this work, but if you hate it here leave"

"Fine you want me gone, I will leave" Carol walked past him to go get her stuff but he grabbed her arm a little to hard. Carol lost it because it was like she was back with Ed , and she screamed at Alex.

'Don't you ever touch me again "

"What happened to you Carol you hate to be touched did someone hurt you"?

"My whole life has been nothing but hurt, I went from one abusive life right into the arms of Ed my husband. I dated the guy for 4 months, and he was nice, and I thought I love this guy. He asked me to marry him, and I jumped at the chance, and for about 2 weeks after I married he would treat me like a Queen but than it all changed. The first time he hit me he broke my arm, and he told me it would never happen again. I was a fool and believed him, and it went on for years. I lost count of how many broken bones or shoulders I had, and I grew to accept the pain, and heartache. He was killed by Walkers, and I felt nothing for the loss of the only man I ever have been with. He gave me only one gift that I treasured with every fiber of my being. I had the most beautiful little girl, and she is gone so yes I am cold, and distant. Emma is adorable, and sweet, and I hate that I don't have my little girl here so you should treasure every waking moment you have with her because one day those things will come on this property, and kill whatever moves, and there is nothing you can do about it."

"No that will not happen, I will protect my Girl so you stop this"

"You are a fool if you think you can protect her we all are going to die the only question is when"

"You seem like you are already dead inside Carol "

Carol started to laugh, "I think you are right, I am already dead , I have nothing worth living for anymore". Carol turned, and ran into the house, and up to her room as she grabbed her bag, and pull out the handgun, as her hands shook as she shut her eyes, and prayed she would have the guts to finally end this nightmare once, and for all.

wow this is a very unique story, I hope Carol can make it back to the group or that Daryl will find her, If he takes Rick's side I will be so mad.
