A New story for Sue Ellen and JR, and John Ross.

Chapter 1

Sue Ellen was reading a book when she heard fighting in the hallway. She ran out seeing John Ross and Christopher fighting. She ran over grabbing John Ross, who yelled ," leave me alone all of you"

" I won't leave you alone, are you on something"?

"You should talk you love your vodka Mom"

" How dare you John Ross"?

He pulled away, " Go to your room Mom, don't act like you give a care"

"Christopher what is he on, has he been doing this for awhile"?

" Ask the angel who does nothing wrong, he is a loser"

" I'm no loser John Ross you are, I don't spend my whole day, getting stoned, or drunk".

" Mom you know how that is right"? John Ross starts laughing

"Get in your room, John Ross, I will come, and see you when your Father gets home"

" Oh you and Dad are going to be Parents for a change. You can't be a couple, so try being a parent".

"Get in your room now, and shut you mouth".

" I will do what I want, I might go riding"

Sue Ellen grabbed his arm, " Your not going riding, like this".

"Leave me alone," John Ross pushed Sue Ellen and she fell. Christopher yelled, " What is wrong with you, OMG she is your Mother"

"Mother really you all make me sick", John Ross ran down the stairs. Christopher touched Sue Ellen's face, " are you ok Aunt Sue Ellen".?

" Christopher phone, Ray tell him not to let John Ross ride".

"Let me help you first".

" No go tell Ray John Ross can't get on a horse"

Christopher ran and Sue Ellen, got up, but was in extreme pain. She went to the bedroom, dialing Ewing Oil.

"Ewing Oil, can I help you"?

"Sly please put JR on the phone"

"He is in a meeting with Marilee Stone".

" This is an emergency regarding his Son, disturb him now"

"OK hold on , I will buzz you through"

Sue Ellen sat on the bed, JR came on the phone"

"Sue Ellen this better be important"

"JR come home now please, John Ross is in trouble"

" Oh for GOD sake, what did he do skip school"?

" No he is on drugs JR, he pushed me"

" Your mistaken he wouldn't do that"

" Christopher seen him, he is on drugs now. He ran out , he is in serious trouble". JR hung up, not saying anything else. Sue Ellen couldn't believe this, she felt sick to her stomach. Christopher ran in, "I told Ray, he is going to the Stables now"

" Christopher how long has this been going on"?

" A couple of months, but he is great at hiding it from everyone. He is really bad now Aunt Sue Ellen, he is doing it all the time".

" OMG I didn't even realize until now"

" Don't blame yourself , I was the only one who noticed"

" I'm his Mother for GOD sake"

Christopher put his head down, "I'm sorry Christopher , I shouldn't yell at you".

" It is ok, I know your scared, so am I"

JR ran in 1/2 hour later, seeing Sue Ellen and Christopher together. "Where is he Sue Ellen, where is our son"?

" I don't know JR he ran out, he was going riding"

" You let him, and he was on drugs, are you stupid "?

" I tried to stop him, he is out of control. He scared me, he pushed, me, I can barely walk".

" Great Mother you are"

Christopher jumped up, "Uncle JR, she is not to blame, he hurt her, we both tried to stop him".

"You knew he was on drugs"?

" Yes, he promised he would stop , I didn't want to tell on him"

" Look what happened Christopher"?

" I know I feel bad, but it is John Ross's fault not mine and Aunt Sue Ellen's".

" I will go find my Son, you rest Sue Ellen".

Sue Ellen got up quickly, but went down in pain. JR ran over, " OMG, why did you get up"?

" I tried to stop him, he is my Son JR".

" OK, stay here, I will find, him".

" JR he blames, me because of my drinking".

"What are you talking about"?

" He brought up, my drinking problem, he blames me"

JR helped her up, and put her on the bed. He heard, yelling and he ran out in the hall. Ray was dragging him, down the hall, and John Ross was fighting him. JR ran down, " stop this John Ross, what is wrong with you"?

" Nothing but a stupid Family , who won't mind their own business"

" Get in your room, enough"

" Enough Dad, you and Mom are so Pathetic".

JR grabbed John Ross, shoving him against the wall. Ray grabbed JR, "Calm down JR, this isn't helping".

Ray grabbed John Ross, "Come on get in your room, let your Dad calm down".

" Dad go get a Bourbon, isn't that what you do every night"?

JR turned, " get out of my site, John Ross, I'm ashamed of you".

"Ditto Dad, I'm ashamed to call you Dad"

Sue Ellen and Christopher both gasped, as JR grabbed John Ross throwing him into his room , and locking the door. Ray turned and looked at Sue Ellen, who, started to cry.

Chapter 2

Sue Ellen almost collapsed Christopher yelled, " Uncle Ray help me get her to her room". Ray put his arm around her, and he helped her to the bed. She was crying, Ray knelt down, " Sue Ellen calm down, he will be alright"

"Is it my fault, he brought up my drinking".

" It is not your fault, and beside your not the only one who drinks in the family".

" I drank while I was pregnant".

"OK Stop I will try to see what is going on in there. Christopher stay with your Aunt"

" I will" Ray walked out, and started to knock on John Ross door. "JR let me in, this isn't making things better".

"Go away Ray, thanks for helping, I will deal with this issue".

"JR please, open the door".

John Ross was on the floor, he landed there after JR pushed him in the room.

JR walked over lifting him up, and threw him on the bed. "How long has this been going on"?

" I don't know Dad, does it matter"?

" Stop John Ross, you are heading for a beating"

" Really, do it Dad, I don't care".

"You have everything given to you, and you throw it all away"

"What money, and schooling, this family is a joke"?.

"Well guess what the money stops for you "

"Get out of my face Dad, go abuse Mom"

JR was shocked , but he walked over and pulled John Ross to his feet, Your Grandpa, would be disappointed in you".

" Really, I think he would be disappointed in you for years. You treat everyone like crap, that is ok right".?

" You hurt your Mom, she was devastated, and you pushed her"

" That was a accident, but that is nothing compared to what you have done, you walked all over her for years."

JR grabbed John Ross's arm, "your going to the doctor, I want to know what your on".?

John Ross pulled away, and JR grabbed him again, and John Ross punched, his Father. JR fell down, and John Ross yelled, " don't' ever grab me again, he opened the door, and started down the hall. Ray noticed, JR on the ground, he ran to him. JR got up," he is really sick, I never would have raised my hand to my Dad". Ray ran out yelling John Ross's name. John Ross kept walking, and Ray ran after him, pushing him up against the wall. He held him tightly," try and hit me like you did your Parents. "

"Let me go I'm out of here"

"Your not going anywhere get back to your room"

" What your trying to be a Father figure, forget Ray"?

" What happened to you John Ross, you were a great kid"?

" I grew up, and started to enjoy life like my Dad"

"Your Dad works, and he doesn't take drugs like you"?

" His drug is women, and treating my Mom like crap"

" That is not your business, that is their business".

"Well I think what I do in life is mine, don't you think"?

"John Ross please lets go see you parents"

" I don't want to see them, I'm going to my Friends, and get away from this whole family". John Ross pushed Ray, he ran down the stairs. He got to the bottom of the stairs, he sees Miss Ellie and Clayton, they heard the whole conversation. They both blocked the bottom of the stairs. John Ross could barely stand up, he yells " Please Grandma get out of my way"

" No, what is going on with you, what are you on"?

" Do you care Grandma really"?

Clayton grabbed John Ross's arm, "don't you ever talk to her that way"?

"Your a joke Clayton, everyone knows you will never take Grandpa Jock's place."

JR walked down, " Go John Ross, but don't come back"

Miss Ellie , Clayton, and Ray all yell " No JR".

" I'm leaving , Dad, don't worry".

" Go than, you broke your Mom's heart, don't you care"?

" No , do you , after all the heart ache you gave her"?

Clayton grabbed John Ross by the shoulders, " enough crap out of you mouth, go to your room".

John Ross pulled away, " no I'm going out, and getting so wasted, I won't remember any of you". He ran out, and JR chased after him, grabbing his arm. "Give me the car keys, that is my car not yours"

" How am I suppose to get off this stinking land"?

" Walk you fool, give me the keys". John Ross took them out of his pocket and threw them across the floor. He walked out, and JR followed, he walked up the path, and JR leaned against the wall. He couldn't believe that was his son, when did he change?

John Ross really said the most hurtful things he could think of, everything was bad but it was low bringing Jock into it. I could see Ray trying to step in. Great chapter

Chapter 3

JR walked upstairs to Sue Ellen, and Christopher left them alone.

"Where is John Ross JR"?

" He left, he is so out of control, when did this happen"?

" I don't know, I just found out today"

" You didn't notice this before, your his Mother"?

" You are his Father, how dare you JR"?

" I work Sue Ellen your job is to make sure he is ok"

" I guess , I'm a horrible Mother, I didn't know"

" I'm going out , I can't be here right now"

" JR don't leave tonight, I beg you , I need your support"

" I'm sorry, I can't help you right now, I need air", JR grabbed his coat, and walked out. Sue Ellen sat on the bed, she couldn't believe he walked out, after what they went through. She stood up, she could barely walk , she walked to the bathroom, and grabbed the Tylenol, she got a glass of water. She took the pill, but her hands were shaking so badly. She never felt so alone, she looked around the room, and walked to John Ross's room. She walked in, walking to the bed. She picked up , his pillow and hugged it rocking back and forth. She was to blame, a Mother should know, she was so wrapped up in her life, she didn't see he was in trouble. She couldn't stop crying, when Miss Ellie walked in with Clayton.

" Sue Ellen , are you ok"?

" I lost everything Miss Ellie", and I'm to blame for it all"

" No, none of us saw it, he hide it so well"

" JR said I was his Mother, I should have known".

Clayton is angry, " what a idiot, a Father should have seen too".

"He works I'm the one home, what kind of Mother lets her boy get this bad"?

" Your in pain, Christopher says, your back is bad"

" I don't care about myself Miss Ellie, I want John Ross home"

Clayton walks over, " We will get him back , and he will get help"

"Clayton can you take me out to look for him"?

" I don't think that is wise"

" I beg of you Clayton , please"

Ray walked in, " I will take you Sue Ellen, they can stay home in case he comes back".

Sue Ellen stood up, and they all could see she should be resting. She walked over , ' Thank you Ray, we have to find him".

"Ok lets go, and we will drive around "

Sue Ellen said she was going to get her sweater, and she left the room.

"Ray she shouldn't go out look at her"

" JR deserted her , what a jerk he is, she needs to do this"

" Where are you going to look"?

" I don't know, but she will feel better doing something"

Sue Ellen walked back , "I'm ready Ray"

" Ok lets go", he turned, " I will take care of her, promise". Sue Ellen and Ray left, and Miss Ellie started to cry.

"Ellie we will find him"

" I'm crying for him, but how could JR walk out on her? He doesn't deserve her, he truly doesn't" . She walked out, and went to her room. Clayton looked around John Ross's, room looking for anything that might give them a clue, to where he went?

Ray and Sue Ellen were driving around, she was quiet. Ray touched her arm, "we probably won't find him tonight Sue Ellen"

" Please keep looking Ray, I have to bring him home"

" I will ", he was driving and looking at all the kids, hanging around on the streets.

" Ray"

" What do you see him"?

" No, but look at all these kids, are they messed up like John Ross"?

" Some Sue Ellen, drugs and alcohol, is a big problem with teens"

" JR thinks I should have noticed, I'm his Mom"

" You listen to me , I was with him Saturday, and I didn't suspect anything. I was so surprised with him today, he is really out of control"

" You don't think it is my fault"?

" No, he has a wonderful life, great schooling, and family. I will say you both are really messed up, but you tried with him".

" He just walked out , he probably is with one of his lady friends right now "

" Sue Ellen , you stay why"?

" I don't know, I do love him, but today, I needed him"

" Yes, you did, and he walked right out the door"

" If we lose John Ross, it is over"

"You won't lose him, he will get help"

" You only came out tonight for me didn't you. You knew we wouldn't find him"?

" I think he has a hangout, or something. You won't find him on the streets. I think you should go home, and he probably will come back on his own".

" You heard him Ray, he hates us"

" He hates everything and everyone right now. It is the drugs Sue Ellen, stop being hard on yourself".

" Go home Ray, thank you for tonight"

" OK I promise, I will help you find him Sue Ellen"

" How did JR turn out so different than all his brothers"?

" I don't know Sweetie, but you have to stop letting him hurt you."

She just looked out the window, as Ray drove her home.

Chapter 4

Ray brought Sue Ellen into the house, and Ellie and Clayton walked over to them. " You ok Sue Ellen , your in pain, let me help you upstairs"?. Clayton says

" I didn't find him Clayton, where is he"?

" I don't know you need to rest".

"How can I sleep when he is in trouble"?

Ray was so angry, "where is that idiot, I understand he is angry. he needs to be here for her"?

" I know we have been calling him , he won't pick up his cell phone".

" Miss Ellie she is really in trouble, it could trigger her drinking"?

" I will watch her thank you Ray"

" I will come back tomorrow, if you need me call me"

" I will thanks for being there for her tonight".

" Your welcome," Ray walked out but he was upset, he knew John Ross was in serious trouble.

Clayton sat Sue Ellen on the bed, " Sue Ellen you have to rest".

" What if he is in trouble, and he needs us"?

Ellie walked in, " Sue Ellen , you rest, we will find him ok"

"JR didn't call how could he leave me especially now"?

Clayton sits beside Sue Ellen, " you can't depend on that man, how he walked out tonight floors me".

" I lost them both, is it my fault"?

Ellie looks at Clayton, "should I call the doctor to see her"

"No, I don't want him to give me something to sleep. John Ross might call, and I wouldn't hear the phone".

Miss Ellie touched Clayton's shoulder, " leave us alone for a moment, I will help her change".

" Ok, see you later Sue Ellen, if you need us, just knock on our door".

" I will Clayton, thank you". Clayton walked out , and Miss Ellie held her hand, " would you like to soak, in a nice warm bath"?

" I wouldn't get back out Miss Ellie, my back".

" How about us getting you dressed for bed, and we can talk until you sleep"?

" Go be with Clayton, I won't do anything stupid promise".

" I don't want to leave you alone, Sue Ellen".

" I'm alone every night Miss Ellie". Sue Ellen started to cry.

Miss Ellie went, and grabbed a nightgown, and helped her put it on. Sue Ellen laid back, and Miss Ellie touched her cheek. "You rest, and the phone is right here. You will hear it if he calls, and if he comes home, I will come and get you"

" Ok," Sue Ellen started to shut her eyes, and Ellie put the blanket over her. She turned the light off, and walked out the door. She walked to her room , seeing Clayton looking out the window, and she walked over.

" You ok Clayton"?

" No, I feel sick for her, she blames herself but we didn't see it either. She is married , to a horrible husband Ellie, he is your son, but I hate him right now"

" I can't believe he walked out either, but he is hurting too".

" No, don't take his side, not this time".

" I'm not Clayton, please".

" I'm going to sit in her room, in that chair. She needs someone to be on her side".

"Clayton Farlow, I'm on her side, don't you dare say that"

" You are making excuses for him, he should be here".

" I know that Clayton, I'm ashamed of him, and I'm dying knowing that Sweet boy , is so out of it, and out there somewhere".

" I'm sorry Ellie, I never should have said anything". They both hug, and he smiled, " do you want to go down for a coffee? Sure lets go, I could use one right now". They go down, and have a coffee, and after 1/2 hour, they walked up, and walked to Sue Ellen's room, to make sure she was ok? They see the door, opened, but she wasn't on the bed. She turned , " OMG where is she Clayton"?

" They walked down the hall, going to check downstairs. They hear something in John Ross's room, they run in thinking it was John Ross. They find Sue Ellen sitting on the floor, holding John Ross's teddy bear, and a picture. She was crying, and they walk over, and knelt down. She doesn't look at them, they whisper " Sue Ellen, you shouldn't be in here like this, lets get you back to bed".

" Miss Ellie, he was a really good boy what happened"?

" He got in with the wrong group at school Sweetie"

" I can't breath, I need to do something to find him".

Clayton walked over to help her up, but she screamed, " leave me alone".

Miss Ellie was so distraught, she was so angry at JR, but she knew she had to get Sue Ellen off the floor.

" You listen to me right now, enough with this blaming yourself. You love that boy, but acting like this isn't helping. You are going to go to your room, and rest, and tomorrow, we will go out and find that boy. We don't know what caused his problem, it could be anything, but right now, he needs a Mother who is strong, and not going to fall apart , like you are doing right now".

Sue Ellen is staring at Miss Ellie, shocked that she yelled at her. She whispered, " help me".

Clayton and Ellie helped her up, he was walking her to her room. He turned and Ellie put her hand over her mouth, sitting on the bed, she was crying so hard. She hated treated Sue Ellen that way, but she had to. Clayton got her out of the room, and Ellie picked up the picture of John Ross , touching it. " What happened to you sweet boy,"? She wiped the tears from her eyes, putting the picture on the dresser. She walked out, and went to help Clayton with Sue Ellen.

Chapter 5

Sue Ellen woke up alone, JR didn't come home at all. She put on her housecoat and ran to John Ross's room, to find it empty. She walked into the room, and sat on the bed. Christopher walked by seeing Sue Ellen.

" Aunt Sue Ellen are you ok"?

"No, where is he Christopher"?

Christopher turned away, and she knew he had a idea where he might be"

" Christopher I beg of you tell me where he might be"

" I will take you there Aunt Sue Ellen, but it is not a nice place. I picked him up their once, he called me for help".

" Why didn't you tell us"?

" I didn't want to snitch on him Aunt Sue Ellen"

" I will get dressed we will go find him ok"?

" Yeah I will wait here, go get ready". Christopher was surprised she was ready in 5 minutes. She was wearing jeans,a blouse, and her hair in a ponytail. She walked in lets go, and don't tell the rest of them they will try and stop us"

" Aunt Sue Ellen, maybe we should get my Dad, or Uncle Ray.

" He might come home for me Christopher" Sue Ellen started to cry.

" Ok but if he gets violent, promise me we will leave Aunt Sue Ellen"

" I promise", Christopher drove Sue Ellen to the house where the drug dealer hangs out. Sue Ellen stared at Christopher, "OMG this place is scary"

" Aunt Sue Ellen please , lets see if he is here, but don't argue with these people"

" I won't", they got out of the car, and Christopher held her hand. They walked up to the door, and a lady answered. Sue Ellen knew she was so drugged up, she could barely speak or talk. Sue Ellen felt sick she was maybe 17 or 18 years old.

"Yeah what do you two want"?

" Is my Son John Ross here"?

" Your his Mommy", the lady starts laughing, " Jerry come here John Ross's Mommy is looking for him".

Jerry walks to the door, " wow pretty lady, who is the little punk".

" He is not a punk, he is my nephew Christopher".

" oh he is a good boy, we are so bad, keeping John Ross away from his precious family"

" Is he here or not, "?

"Yes, but I don't think he wants to see his Mommy, he is in his own little party right now"

" What do you mean"?

Christopher whispered, " he is high Aunt Sue Ellen"

" Please let me see him just for a moment"

" Ok come into my home, it is a bit of a mess, my maid didn't come yet to clean it up "

She saw John Ross sitting in a chair, he was so out of it, he didn't even recognize her. She ran over , John Ross look at me, I'm taking you home".

" No, get lost Mom"

" Don't you ever talk like that again, do you hear me"

" Christopher you trader, you brought her here".

" She is hurting John Ross, so are Grandma and Grandpa Clayton".

" I don't care, as long as I'm happy"

Jerry walked over, "Mame your son has to pay me alot of money, maybe since your rich you can pay his debt, his Daddy cut off his credit cards"

" I'm not giving you anything, I'm taking my boy out of this filthy house".

" Oh, now the pretty rich lady is putting down my home"

Christopher touched Sue Ellen arm, " lets go Aunt Sue Ellen"

" No punk, we are talking so stand back"

Christopher looks at John Ross but moved 2 feet back.

Sue Ellen was trying to be brave, " I'm sorry but this is wrong, giving kids drugs, it is destroying them".

" I have to make a living, and I didn't force your boy here he came all on his own".

" I understand let me take him, out of here"

" For a price, give me your money and jewelery"

" No, I won't do that"

"You won't do that", he looks around everyone was standing silent. John Ross even stared, seeing his Mother and Jerry glaring down each other.

Jerry went into a rage, smacking Sue Ellen knocking her to the ground. Christopher ran over he kicked him, yelling " this is between me and her, get it".

John Ross was shocked, " Jerry stop that is my Mom"

"John Ross, you owe me 5 grand Buddy, I want my money. Should I take it out in trade, me and Mommy upstairs for 5 hours or her jewelery and wallet""?

" Mom give him the jewelery and money now"

Sue Ellen stood up , helping up Christopher, " I will give it to you if he comes too, pointing to John Ross".

" OMG, lady do you like punishment, rich boy is staying with me, he is my family now".

"No, he needs help".

Jerry pushed Sue Ellen so hard, she went down, and was so disoriented when Jerry walked over standing above her. He straddled her, holding her hands above her head. He smiled," do you want me to show you some fun, or are you going to do what your told", he started touching her. She struggled again, Jerry was screaming at her.

" Ok I will give you the money and my jewelery" He got off her, and she got up, but she was shaking. She handed him a few hundred dollars, plus her wedding rings, and a bracelet. She grabbed Christopher, and Jerry yelled " leave now, or you will find out what kind of lover, I actually am. " Sue Ellen felt like she was going to throw up, she stared at John Ross, who laughed along with Jerry. She was devastated, he really was so far gone, she might never get him back. She wanted to go to him, but Jerry, yelled " I said get out of my house". Christopher and Sue Ellen left, and they were walking to the car. Sue Ellen got sick twice and Christopher didn't know what to do? He drove her home, but he felt horrible, she was more depressed now, than before, she wasn't speaking , and he prayed somehow, John Ross could be saved.

Chapter 6

Christopher and Sue Ellen arrived at the house. She got out of the car , and Clayton and Bobby ran over. " What happened you look pale as a ghost"?

" My son is gone, you should have seen him today".

Bobby grabbed Christopher, " OK where did you take her"?

" To this Drug house, I'm sorry they hurt her".

"What do you mean Christopher "?

" Jerry I thought he was going to rape her. She fought him, but he took her money and rings, and jewelery. I thought maybe John Ross would come to his senses. He laughed Daddy, she was so hurt, I never should have taken her there, I'm so sorry".

" Go in the house call Uncle Ray, and get him over here right now". Bobby walked over wrapping his arm around Sue Ellen. Clayton and him, walked her to her room, and she laid down. She was crying, Bobby touched her face, " I'm going to bring him home promise, if JR can't be like a Father figure, I will". He pulled the blanket over her. "Clayton stay with her, I will go with Ray to find him ok"

"Yes be careful Bobby ".

" I will , stay with her, don't let her leave this house again". Bobby ran downstairs, as Ray drove up. He grabbed Christopher, and the three of them went to the house. Bobby looked at Christopher, "you stay here, if anything goes wrong take off. If we are not out in 10 minutes , call the police ok".

"Daddy they are bad, maybe you should get the police involved".?

" Stay here do you hear me"?

" Yes, I will," Bobby and Ray jumped out of the car, and walked up to the door.

A girl answered and yelled for Jerry, who came to the door. "What do you want , who are you the Police "?

" We want to take John Ross home, hand him over, and we won't cause trouble".

" Oh go to hell", Jerry went to slam the door, but Ray kicked it open. He grabbed Jerry, " where is he , tell us now"?

" Ken get rich boy now, he is way to much trouble for me". Ken walked over dragging John Ross to the door. He pushed him towards Bobby who grabbed him.

" Why are you here"?

" We are taking you home, come on now".

" No, I'm staying here, with my friends".

Jerry grabbed John Ross, " leave, you first bring your Mom, now these two, get out of here now".

" Jerry, we are family you said".

" Leave, don't come back here John Ross, or I will hurt you ". John Ross screamed at Bobby, " I hate you, look what you did now"?

Ray and Bobby dragged him down the stairs, to the car. They almost threw him in, and John Ross yelled at Christopher. "You traitor, you had to tell where I was "?
