I LOVE the love/hate relationship of JR and Sue Ellen Larry Hagman and Linda Gray had amazing chemistry as JR and Sue Ellen. Yes, Sanda, J.R. and Sue Ellen are the personification of a love-hate relationship. Jenna once said it best...."Being married to J.R. would drive anyone to drink". or by Sue Ellen herself...."Nothing pleases you like other people's misery." Yet, when it came right down to it, they just couldn't live without each other. Know of any couples like them in real life? As brothers, I think Bobby and J.R. had a love-hate relationship as well.....

I love JR and Sue Ellen, they were not the perfect couple. I think they both truly loved each other, but JR's affairs destroyed that. Linda Gray and Larry Hagman had amazing chemisty together. You loved to hate JR, but you rooted for Sue Ellen and JR to finally make it. JR hurt her everytime, but their scenes together were priceless. I especially loved the scenes where Sue Ellen , got under JR's skin . They were very hot tempered, and we seen alot of fights with them, but the making up scenes were always my favourites.

I think the relationship between Sue Ellen and JR was a true love story in the beginning. They loved each other. But Sue Ellen didn´t know her husband very well in the beginning. JR had a good side but he was a lousy and hopeless husband. That was the problem. That was the fact with any JR´s relationship with the women.
