New Short story for you Melinda. Hope you like it. I know this is the last year for the show, I would love for this to happen. This is sad, but I promise it will get better.

Back home where I need to be.

Dwight, and Jim were at each others throats yet again. The rest of the team were watching, and Andy came out of the office, and was looking at the team, and he looked over at Erin who was smiling at him. He finally walked over to her, and she smiled as he leaned over kissing her making everyone look over.

Erin smiled as Andy looked at them, and told them to get back to work." I guess you have never seen someone kiss. We have something to tell you all, we are getting married, and you all are invited. We don't need rumors to start we are having a baby, and we are so happy, and I'm so in love, I finally found the woman, I have waited my whole life for"

Everyone was smiling, Erin got up, and hugged Andy. They all were congratulating them when someone walked into the office, they all turned shocked to see who it was.

The first person that ran over to Michael was Pam, she was surprised she missed Michael so much, and it was so great seeing him here, she was a little surprised, but happy none the less. The others were happy too, Michael walked over to Andy, and smiled.

"So have you run the company like I trained you"

Andy smiled, "Yeah I'm doing OK, Michael you should have told us you were coming for a visit"?

"I wanted to surprise you all, and by the looks on your faces I did that"

"Well I was just telling them I was getting married, and we are having a baby"

Michael smiled, "A baby you wow that is wonderful news"

"Michael where is Holly"?

"Back home she couldn't come this trip"

Michael smiled but Pam knew something was wrong, and she walked over to him, and touched his arm.

"Michael why don't we go get a coffee downstairs, I would love to hear all the amazing stuff that has happened to you since you left this place"

"OK Pam". Pam grabbed her sweater, Michael waved, and left with Pam while the others stood watching him leave.

Jim turned, "He doesn't seem OK does he"?

"No he seems down not like his cheery rude self". Angela said as the other walked to their desks, and sat down.

Pam, and Michael got downstairs, and Michael got the coffee's , and sat down.

"Pam how are you, and Jim doing"?

"Great the kids are growing fast"

"I can't wait to see them"

"Michael something is wrong is Holly OK"?

"Yes she is wonderful"

"Good but are you"?

"No I regret so many things in my life Pam, but I left here for her. I love this job, you all were my family, and I gave up everything for her, and she threw it all away"

"What do you mean you just had a baby girl, I hear you called her Megan, and the pictures you sent were adorable"

"Yes she is amazing, she was her Daddy's little girl that is for sure"

"This is what you wanted for so long Michael you finally have the life you wanted"

"I did"

"Michael your freaking me out, what is the matter"?

"She cheated on my she told me Friday she had to get it off her chest. She thinks Megan is mine she is not sure so we have to do a test, but I walked out on her before we could find out, I don't want to know"

"Oh Michael I'm so sorry"

"No more sorry than me, I officially have become the loser you all thought I was all along"

"What are you talking about"?

"Pam don't do that you are one person I can rely on, I thought Holly was that person too, but she ruined everything"

Pam was speechless she didn't know what to say to him.

Great start to your new story Jessie. I am so happy that Micheal is back at the Office in your story. I hope that Steve Carell comes back on The Office during its final season but and reprises his role of Michael but I don't think that is going to happen. I read that this the last season for The Office.

Chapter 2

Pam knew Jim probably would be angry but she asked Michael to come, and stay with them for a few days until he decides what he is going to do about Holly, and the baby.

"Pam you sure I could stay at a hotel "?

"What are friends for, I would love to have you stay with us. The kids will love having someone new to play with"

Michael laughed, "Kids love me, Adults not so much, and my Wife obviously not"

"I don't know what happened between you, and Holly, but she loves you"

"Really she slept with another man she says it was a brief affair but my baby who I raised, and loved is not mine do you have any idea how that hurts"?

"Of course I do but she made a mistake"

"Really Pam if Jim slept with someone what would you do, and how would you think about him"?

"OK Michael your right I would never forgive him"

"You should see Megan she lights up when I walk into a room, you should have seen her face the day I walked out. I hurt her Pam but I was so angry, I couldn't hold her, I just couldn't"

"It isn't her fault, and your the only Father she knows Michael. You can be angry at Holly but don't take it out on Megan she is a innocent victim in this situation"

"I know I hate myself"

"Michael it is understandable why your angry, and hurt, and maybe someday you can forgive Holly"

"Something is seriously wrong with me, I did everything for Holly, and she hurt me like this. What is wrong with me Pam, why do I allow things like this to happen to me all the time? You know Jan was someone I cared for but it turned into something so sick, and twisted. Holly was different she changed me, I walked away from my job, my life, and the only friends I ever had for her, and she seemed really happy. I look back, and don't remember anything I did to make her cheat on me. I never did anything but love her, and respect her, and she does this to me. I hate her right this moment, I don't know if I can ever get past the hate"

"You will get sick you don't have to forgive her but hate will ruin your life, and you will never be happy Michael"

"Like I can be happy after this, one day I have a family, and baby girl a home, a good job, and the next it is all gone"

"You quit your job too"?

"Yes"

"Michael why you could have taken a leave of absence or something"

"I know but when I am angry I don't think"

Pam smiled, "I remember Michael"

"Pam did you ever miss me when I left"?

"All the time we all did, we knew you were happy, and we were happy for you. I cried for 2 days after you left it wasn't the same, but it got easy after a while"

"You are so lucky Jim is amazing he loves you Pam"

"I love him to Michael"

"Pam I would like to stay for a few days at your place, thanks for being a good friend"

Pam smiled as Michael paid the bill, Pam had to make Jim understand they had to do this for Michael right now. She knew it would be hard but what are friends for?

Great update Jessie. I loved the talk between Pam and Michael in this chapter. I hope that things work out between Michael and Holly.

Chapter 3

Jim got home, Pam called saying she would meet him at home. Jim walked into the house, and was a little surprised to see Michael sitting on the couch with the kids.

"Michael I didn't know you were here"?

Cecelia jumped up running over to her Daddy.

"Daddy , Uncle Michael is going to live with us , he is watching cartoons with us"

Michael smiled, 'You don't mind Pam said I could stay for a few days"

"That is fine where is Pam"?

'Making dinner".

"I will be right back". Cecelia ran back, and Michael lifted her on the couch, as Philip played on the floor with some blocks. Jim walked to the kitchen, and went inside.

Pam turned, "Jim he had no where to go, I had to invite him to stay"

"Pam you are talking about Michael"

"Yes our Friend he would do this for us in a second"

"I understand but for how long"?

"Until he figures out what he is going to do with his life, and if he will go back, and forgive Holly"

"Holly loved him, I don't get this"

"She cheated can you believe that, his little girl is not his, I'm so angry with Holly how could she do this to him"

"I don't understand this Holly cheated that is hard to believe"

"She did Jim, and he is dying inside, he left everything for that woman, I would love to give her a piece of my mind."

"Pam stay out of it, Michael needs to figure out what is best for him"

"Maybe you can take Michael out later to that pool hall you like, and maybe he will talk to you about his problems"

"I don't want to talk about them what would I say"

"You are a guy, Jim he needs a friend"

"OK I will ask him, but you know I'm not good at this kind of thing"

Pam leaned into Jim, and whispered, "Oh you will do fine, you have a heart of gold"

Jim smiled as they kiss, they both laugh as Michael came in, and covered his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Phillip wants his juice box"

Pam walked to the fridge, and grabbed two, and handed them to Michael.

"Here is one for both of them, would you like a coffee or anything"?

"No I don't want to be a bother"

Jim grabbed two beers, and handed one to Michael.

"After dinner would you like to take a walk with me to the pool hall, I go once, and a while just to relax, I'm not really great at it"

"Sure but Pam you don't mind"?

"No I get to spend time with the kids alone, we normally bond watching our favourite films together"

Michael smiled he knew they were doing this for him, and he really appreciated it. Michael said he would love to go. He walked out with the juice boxes, and Pam smiled telling Jim to help her set the table, dinner was ready. Jim helped as Michael sat down giving Phillip, and Cecelia their juice. He suddenly got emotional remembering the times he had with Megan, and he missed her sweet voice, and her laughter. He looked over , and noticed Cecelia looking at him, she held his hand, and whispered.

"Don't be sad Uncle Michael"

"I'm happy sweet girl, I just have something in my eye". She smiled as he wiped a tear from his cheek, and watched the TV with the kids trying to forget how much his heart hurt this moment, and how much he missed his girls, he even missed Holly, and that made him sad after what she did to him.

Great update Jessie. Poor Micheal. :'(Cecilia is so cute wiping the tears away from Micheal's eyes. Michael is so lucky to have Pam, Jim and the kids in his life right now.
