This is the episode where Mark finds out about his illness from his close friend and doctor, Jerry Kenderson. I must admit that this scene is sad. Mark is trying to come to terms with the fact that he won't be alive much longer, and there is the sad look of hopelessness in Jerry's eyes. You can feel the depth of their friendship and how much they will miss each other. Mark doesn't have much time left, and there is nothing that Dr. Kenderson can do about it. The part where they say goodbye, and you see the tears in Jerry's eyes, is particularly sad.

This episode is where Pam and Mark share one "perfect night together" before his plane crashes. I admit that I don't like it when Mark doesn't stay with Pam the next morning after they make love. I also don't like it when Bobby and Jenna get engaged in this episode.
