Bobby´s "dying" is probably is maybe the most popular moment in the Dallas saga. Maybe even more popular than JR was shot. It was not known then that his absence was only temperary. The music in the Swan Song was leading to something. The watchers knew something was really going on. Though Bobby came after the Dream season back to the show his last words in with the Ewing family will never die.

Jussi, I agree that Bobby's dying is one of the most popular moment in the Dallas saga and it also laughed as well becuase it became part of Pam's nightmare/dream.

Swan Song is without doubt the most famous Dallas episode ever. Some people say that it was a bit sugary but I disagree. It was very well done, maybe it was planned very carefully cos it was known that Patrick Duffy was leaving the show. the actors did some awesome work when Bobby was saying goodbye. I have seen that scene more than any other Dallas scene. The episode when JR was shot was close as equal. I rememmber it was a summer break in Dallas here in Finland after that episode and everyone discussed who shot JR.
