Best episode of the serie. Not only for the Pam and Bobby scenes, but for the excellent acting! It was the highest point of their relationship. BTW, this ep moves me so much that I always relive my feelings when I watch it s scenes.

I cry everytime I watch the Bobby and Pam scenes in this episode. VP always gets to me in the scene when she tells Bobby as much as I LOVE you you have to marry her. Jenna sure was a clueless brainless wonder.

I Loved The Swan Song also, I had been pulling for these two to get back together. I find it hard to watch.(Just the Last few minutes.) Because they finally do and he dies. Very Bittersweet. I felt at the time robbed. And I felt angry Darn, Jenna and Mark! Waste of air time!! I also loved when Christopher runs into the room. Daddy! When Bobby ask Christopher what he is going to have for breakfest. It just made it seem like they were family again finally.

I feel the same way you do about Swan Song Tammie. I agree that Mark and Jenna were a waste of air time. I was also very angry at Patrick Duffy at the time for quitting the show after Bobby and Pam were reunited and for asking the writers to kill off Bobby when he quit the show.

Yes, some of the Bobby/Pam scenes are among the most powerful of the whole series, romantically speaking. Nothing or nobody on earth is stronger than the love that they have for each other. Specifically, the scene the morning after Bobby proposed to Pam. You feel that their love is so real. You almost wonder why Patrick and Victoria didn't become an item off the show as well. As cheery and romantically powerful as that scene was, it also was hard to watch because of what was to ensue right after it.

Matthew, I agree with that it was ashame that PD and VP weren't linked romantically in real life especially when you watch them in the scene the morning after they get engaged in the episode. There acting in that scene was soo amazing and soo real.

This is my favorite episode for several reasons. Dallas premiered the year I was born, I remember watching it when I was little and the only specific episode I remember watching was the scene where Bobby stepped out of the shower. But after all these years in November I found Swan Song on line and I watched it and I was hooked on the show again. It was so sad. I loved Bobby's proposal and how emotional Pam became. I loved it how Bobby tickled her, I thought her laughter was great. Christopher coming in was cute. The end was so sad though. But this episode made me really love Bobby and Pam together.

I wanted to kill Katherine myself for running Bobby over with her car. ;D
