What direction do you think the writers of Dallas would have taken with the storylines at the end of season 8 if Leonard Katzman had not wiped out all of season 8 as Pam's dream. Recap of the cliffhanger! --Pam and Mark getting married --Sue Ellen is in explosion at Ewing Oil --Jamie is blown up in Jack's car --Donna and Ray adopt Tony --Pam wakes up and finds a Bobby look alike in her shower. As much as I liked the dream solution used to bring PD back on the show I would like to have seen what would have happened to the characters with all of these multiple cliffhangers. ;D PLEASE answer this topic objectively without saying right off the bat that you hate Mark Graison. Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject. ;D

Well, I would have that Bobby didnt die, that somehow on his way down to the morgue, he came back to life, and when he comes back into Pam's life. It will be at Pam and Mark's wedding before they say "I do", and Christopher will recognize his daddy right off, and run right off, and to him, and Pam will go right to Bobby, and Mark knowing that Pam loves Bobby will just leave. Pam and Bobby get remarried, and Pam tells Bobby that she's pregnant with his baby from their reunion. Another change is that Pam NEVER sold J.R. Bobby's shares in Ewing Oil. Pam and Bobby get remarried at the ceremony, and everyone wishes them luck, excluding J.R..

I definitely wouldn't want to remarry Bobby at her and Mark's wedding location though. ;D

Well, I'll mix what the storylines would've been had Bobby not returned, with an idea of how he would have. Pam and Mark- Pam joins Mark in the shower(which was originally intended). They are happily washing, when all of the sudden, he goes into cardiac arrest and dies. It is later found he was murdered (poisoned, hence the cardiac arrest) as a result of J.R. prying into his past. Sue Ellen is paralyzed from the blast at Ewing Oil, while Jamie is killed.
As for Bobby's return? This required a bit of thought. Well, I'll have it that Bobby's death scene was staged by Katherine. How is this possible? Katherine spent season 7 on the run plotting her revenge. Well, I will have it that the demented driver, originally Katherine, was actually a Katherine look-alike, a mentally unstable woman hired by the real Katherine to kill both Bobby and Pam. Katherine pushes all the right buttons, and sends her "twin" to do her dirty work, and after she does it, Katherine will then kill her so she won't tell anyone. Well, this look-alike runs over Bobby but not Pam, she herself is killed. Bobby is rushed to the hospital. Katherine then improvises. She decides now to kidnap Bobby. She goes to the hospital and learns that Bobby, despite massive internal injuries, should pull through. The doctor in charge is on Kathy's payroll, and stages the deathbed scene, such as rigging the EKG machine to flatline when Bobby goes to sleep. The Ewing family believing Bobby is dead, leaves. The doctors bribed by Katherine then sneak Bobby into a car with Katherine. Basically she drugs him, and keeps him prisoner for a year. The plan works perfectly, because Bobby's death was clearly registered by the EKG machine, and Katherine is "dead", too, so nobody will be looking for her. However at the end of season 8, one of Katherine's "employees" gets a conscience (she's a female also with a weakness for Bobby), nurses Bobby back to health and helps him escape. Back in Dallas, Bobby immediately heads over to Pam's house. Well, it just so happens that Pam is mourning Mark's sudden death. And then, in a scene remininiscent of Mark's return a year ago..........

I would love the way Bobby comes back: Katherine and Angelica wows revenge on the Ewings, and when Angelica learned about Katherine s death, she gave an injection to Bobby in the hospital dressed a nurse. This injection made Bobby a test death (not biological death). So everybody believed that Bobby died. Angelica changed Bobby s body to another one s body, which was buried in SF. Bobby s body was taken to a Californien laboratory. Later Angelica continued her revenge on the Ewings, so the other storylines could have continued. In the few last eps of season 8 Bobby woke up from his test death and learned that Mark and Pam would marry. On the wedding day s night Bobby returned and met Mark in the hall, when Pam was asleep. Mark finally realized that he had to leave Pam. I would continue the other storylines involving Ray, Donna, JR and SE. I would save Sue Ellen and even Jamie s life. I would not written Jenna s pregnancy in the show, but if it was needed, she could be pregnant from Jack, cos they were lovers in season 8.

My storyline Idea for how I would have had Bobby comeback from the dead. I hope this isn't too bizarre. I would have had it that Mark and Katherine were in cohoots to keep Bobby and Pam apart. I would have had it that Bobby survived the injuries and that Katherine had Bobby held hostage somewhere and that Mark knew that Bobby was alive and that he was helping Katherine keep Bobby hostage so that he could have Pam all to himself. Pam starts to recieve mysterious letters from Bobby a couple of days before her wedding to Mark. Pam doesn't want to believe what she reading in the letters becuase she still believes that Bobby is dead. Pam starts having flashbacks to Mark telling her that he paid someone to be in his bed in Hong Kong so that she would get on with her life. Pam is starting to have doubts about Mark Graison but she doesn't want to face them becuase a part of her loves him but in a different way that she loves Bobby. Pam also has flashbacks about the last night she spend with Bobby before his was killed. On the day of her wedding to Mark Graison, Bobby shows up at the wedding shocking Pam and all the guests at the wedding. Bobby forces Mark to admit to Pam and all of the guests that he made everyone think that Bobby was dead so that he could have Pam all to himself. He also makes Mark admit the he and Katherine had him held hostage for the last year so he could have Pam all to himself. Bobby and Pam have Mark thown in jail and they get married in the season opener of season 9.
