If you were a writer on Dallas at the end of the 1984/1985 season how would you have written Pam's storyline for season 8 after Bobby was killed at her house in Swan Song and season 8 hadn't be revealed to be a dream? I am very interested to hear how you would have written Pam's storyline in season 8.

I would have made Pam pregnant from Swan Song.

I would have written Pam getting involved with Matt Cantrell (I cant stand Mark, I think he's nothing but a playboy). I would have had Pam and Christopher staying in Dallas, and not moving away, and defintaly not moving on too fast with anyone.

I can't stand Mark Graison either. I would have had Pam working with JR at Ewing Oil while pregnant with her and Bobby's child. That would have made for a very interesting storyline. The writers of Dallas didn't do enough to keep me interested in Pam's story after Bobby was gone from the show. I think if the writers would have had Pam pregnant with Bobby's baby on the show that would have kept people watching the show becuase Bobby would still be a part of the show living on though Bobby and Pam's child.

I agree that they should have developed the Pam versus JR at Ewing Oil storyline more. Over the course of the season, JR would grudgingly come to realize that Pam is a completent business woman. On the personal side, I wish they would have had Pam grieve longer for Bobby. I didn't mind Mark coming back, but they shouldn't have immediately made Pam and Mark a couple. I would have preferred them to be friends for an extended period while Pam properly greived for Bobby. For Chrisopher, I would have liked to see him spend more time at Southfork with his cousin and grandmother. Again, that keeps Christopher in touch with his Dad's heritage.

Great comments about Pam's storyline in seson 8 and I agree with you 100% but I can't stand Mark Graison and Pam as a couple.
