Sanda couldn’t believe it. She was finally Mrs. Bobby James Ewing. This was the happiest day of her life. Everything went exactly as planned. There were no interruptions from her brother in law JR Ewing. Everything was going to be wonderful. Life at Southfork was bound to be exciting and she was up for the challenge.
“Honey, what’s taking you so long to get ready?” Sanda called out. “We were supposed to have left an hour ago.”
“I know. Florida will still be there when we get there. Why rush when I can spend time with my beautiful bride?” Bobby pulled Sanda into a passionate embrace.
“Now, now Bobby, behave yourself. We’ll have plenty of time for that later. I’d like to get going so we can get a good start on the drive before dark. You know I don’t like driving after dark,” Sanda told him.
“Why, are you afraid of bears?” Bobby teased.
“No, something could happen. And you just can’t be too careful, not with as far of a distance as we have.”
“Nothing’s going to happen. Can I have at least fifteen minutes?” Bobby looked at her with his boyishly handsome good looks, and it was hard for her to say no.
“Bobby Ewing how can any woman say no to you? You had better not be doing any asking to any other women though,” Sanda said in between kisses.
“There’s only you for the rest of my life,” he said as he shut the door.

“Honey, I knew something like this would happen! Why didn’t we leave sooner? Now it’s six and all the tire places are closed. We’re going to be stuck out here all night,” Sanda sighed, looking at the flat tire.
“What I don’t understand is why you didn’t replace the spare after you had a flat the last time. We wouldn’t be out here…”
“Out where, Bobby James Ewing?”
“Sanda, I’m sorry. This is no one’s fault. Please let’s not fight. Not today of all days. There has to be a place that can fix tires somewhere around here,” Bobby said.
“How about Wal-Mart?”
“Wal-mart? What’s that?”
“Bobby, don’t be silly. You know what a Wal-mart is. It has everything- clothes, pharmacy, food, auto, tire repair, home supplies, tv’s, music….”
“Sounds like you know your way around there,” Bobby said, impressed.
“What can I say, I love a good buy,” Sanda smiled.
“If the prices are so low how good can the quality be?”
“Bobby, that’s another discussion for another day. Let’s just get information and find us a Wal-mart.”
So the two of them finally made it to the store, where the clerks told them their car would be ready in an hour or less.
“An hour? How are we going to kill an hour?” Bobby complained.
“There’s a Subway in here. We could grab a bite to eat.”
So they killed off fifteen minutes, and Bobby asked “What next?”
“Grab a cart, you’re about to have your first encounter with Wal-Mart.”
They walked over to the pastry section, where Bobby’s eyes widened at the selection of cheesecakes. “I bet they are not as good as my Mamma’s.”
“There is no such thing as a bad cheesecake though,” Sanda told him.
“At least they have plenty of fruits and vegetables…that’s a plus,” Bobby smiled.
They made their way down to the canned foods section. “Good golly, I’ve never seen so many cans in my life. You could feed an army for a year in here. How healthy is this stuff?” He picked up a can of Spaghetti-os. “Look at all the sodium.”
“That’s one of Christopher’s favorite foods.”
They went down to the cereal aisle. “Christopher would have a field day in here! Look at all the sugar. I need a trip to the dentist now,” Bobby complained.
“There are some healthy foods, on the top shelves,” Sanda pointed out.
“Look how appealing they are. I’d rather eat some of the stuff Ray feeds to the horses.”
“Bobby!” Sanda playfully punched him.
They made their way to the cookies and crackers aisle. “Cheeze-its? How lazy are we if we can’t put a piece of cheese on some crackers the way we did it when I was a kid?”
“Bobby James… isn’t there anything about this place that appeals to you?”
“Well, I wouldn’t mind seeing you try on one of their swimsuits…”
“Are you serious?” Sanda asked.
“Sure I am. Let’s go look for one, you try it on and I’ll give you my seal of approval.”
So Sanda picked out a few two- piece swimsuits she liked and went to the fitting room. “Bobby, can you come in here and tell me what you think?”
Bobby whistled and walked over and put his hands around her waist. “I think you don’t know what you do to me.”
Sanda kissed him back. “Now go please, I need to get undressed.”
“I say you need to get undressed,” He untied her bikini top and watched it fall down and began to kiss her shoulders.
“Bobby James Ewing, are you insane? This is Wal-Mart! We could get caught!”
Bobby kept on kissing her. “Come on, live a little. It’s our honeymoon. What do you say. Do this for me and I promise I’ll buy some Cheeze-its.”
Sanda smiled, and gave into him. Customer satisfaction was given a whole new meaning that day.
Bobby and Sanda got their car back, and Bobby bought some Cheeze-its. He found that he actually liked them and had Teresa buy some for the house. Miss Ellie wondered why Bobby and Sanda would laugh whenever they ate some, but it would forever be their little secret.
