I personally don't think that Pamela was a golddigger out to get Bobby's money. Remember when Bobby and Pam divorced and they were with their divorce attorneys, Pam didn't ask for any of Bobby's money. I LOVED it that Pamela worked at The Store while she was married to Bobby. I also believe that Cliff took advantage of Pamela after she got her inheritance for her mother.

Pam was not a gold digger! That s not true! Pam did not need the Ewings s money or power. She went on her own path, had a job and a profession, had Barnes/Wenthworth, a big house! She worked and had saved money. She divorced Bobby twice times, and never asked for money. She was an independent woman! She had worked also before she married Bobby. And I think that Pam and Bobby s love was real and pure. Money did not affect their relationship.

I LOVED it when Pamela worked at The Store when she was married to Bobby. IMO Bobby and Pam were the BEST and most realistic couple on the show. People I think forget that Pamela inherited all of the money, Barnes/Wentworth, and her mother's house.

You guys made all of my points. Pam was not a gold digger. It anyone was, it was Sue Ellen. Rememer the scene where she is pretending to be entertaining in the entryway and Pam sees her and confronts her? I think Pam' s job demonstrated she wasn't with Bobby for his status or cash. I'm sure she didn't object to some of the perks that came with the Ewing name. But who of us would object?

If anyone was a Gold digger it was Sue Ellen. Sorry, Sue Ellen Fans. You have seen the rock on Sue Ellen hand. I don't remember Pam have a rock like that. Pam worked for a living. Sue Ellen didnt work until later. Unless you call winning a beauty contest work. I think that Pam was proud of Bobby, she just wanted him to be the best he could be. Sorry, if this upsets any Sue Ellen Fan. Dont hate!

Just listen to Sue Ellen's mother Patricia talking about what she wanted for her daughters Sue Ellen and Kristin. I also agree with you 100% about everything you said about Pam as well.
