Hi Sanda, I personally dislike the storyline of Pam searching for Mark Graison, first because this search was just J.R's hand who wanted to keep Pam away from Bobby ( Pam was a puppet in J.R 's hands and I don't like this as well! ). Second because This search had no results at all, just waste time , and time was soo preciouse for Bobby and Pam...

Victoria Principal did some amazing acting during this storyline IMO. I LOVE the scene when she confronts JR in the episode Legacy of Hate. www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9PXIyPatBsI agree that time was precious for Bobby and Pam since the writers killed Bobby off the show at the end of the season. Hi all, I thought the search went on to long! Wasted time between her and Bobby. But I also thought that the search for Mark was a big distracting for Pam. Pam knew how she felt about Bobby. But she thought that Bobby and Jenna were to be married Tammie

Hi all, I just wanted to add something about the search for Mark. When Mark left he wanted Pam to go on with her life. What makes me angry about the storyline is the fact that Mark made it seem as though he was coming back, keeping things going and sending the flowers to Pam. If he wanted her to go on with her life then why do all these things. I mean I know Mark must have known Pam Loved Bobby why would any man settle for less than the whole woman, and as far as Bobby and Jenna goes the same applies for Jenna. Why she would want to settle for a man who Loves someone else? Jennna IMO wanted the money and the Ewing name and everything that went with it. I think Jenna Loved Bobby as well as Mark Loved Pam. But Bobby and Pam were IN LOVE with each other. Loving someone and being IN LOVE are two different things. Sorry, got off the subject a bit. Hope you dont mind. Anyways, it was just some thoughts I was having. Tammie

I voted for dumb storyline to keep Bobby and Pam apart. I may not have made compelling TV, but I will they would have skipped both Pam's search for Mark and Naldo's murder.
Once Pam and Bobby realized Katherine wrote the letter under Pam's name, I would think they would have talked and realized they still loved one another.

Though a Soap Opera is not a real life Pam´s search for Mark had similarities to the real life. Pam had at first an information Mark was dead. But then there came other information. Who couldn´t catch a little hope for that. I really understand her reaction. A loved one who is said to be dead is still alive. Pam wasn´t stupid at all though all Southfork people warned her to avoid a huge disappointment.

Jussi, I agree with you 100% about understanding Pam's reaction to want to try to find Mark when she has information that he might be alive. I agree that Pam wasn't stupid even though everyone that loves her is warning her not to set herself up for a huge disappointment.
