Pam's Disappearance From The Hospital

What do you think happened to Pam after she disappears from the hospital after her accident? I am interested in hearing your thoughts on this subject.

I personally think that Pam was kidnapped by Katherine. I don't think she left the hospital willingly at all. I never accepted her exit from the show.

Sanda, I reluctantly watched the first couple of Dallas episodes post Victoria Principal just to see what direction they were going to go. I just can't see Pam leaving Bobby and Christopher forever. Acuir had a great You Tube video post 4 weeks ago with Pam and Bobby in season 9. Pam is struggling with Jenna's pregnancy. Pam say's "I'd probably run away if I could, but I need you too much" I can't see that changing just because she was in a accident.

I know they didn't want to re-cast Pam, but the show was effectively over for me.

Bruce, Great post and soo totally agree with you about Dallas being over for me as well after Pam disappears for the hospital.

The show was over for me when VP left. As for my thoughts on how they wrote her off.. I feel anger, I will try an contain it. I will start out by answering your question with a question. Why would Pam leave her child? When she herself was raised by her Aunt?! Unbelievable if you ask me! I think to write her out like that...Is kind of a slap in the face! Why do I say this?! Because all Pam every wanted was a child...Remember the suicide storyline?! All the trouble(lies) Bobby went thru to get that child! It was like wiping 9 years of storylines out in one scene. Sorry, about this but some people might not like this.....But you whin and cry about the way they brought Bobby back by wiping out the dream season. They pretty much wiped Pam character! It was worse than killing her off! Please, remember this is JMO! Thank you

Tammie, I agree with you 100% about how the writers wrote Pam out of the show. I also HATE how Pam whined about Bobby and Jenna's baby all season 9 after Bobby/PD cameback on the show. I don't understand why the writers of Dallas further insulted the intelligence of its fans after they wiped out season 8 as Pam's Dream by writing in Priscilla Presley's pregancy into the show and having Bobby the father of the baby. IMO Season 7 (season 8 on DVD) was the last great season of Dallas. Remember this is JMO.

I thought it was crazy she left without her son at least. I
could maybe see her leaving Bobby, but not their
son. It was obvious she needed someone's help. I hated
when she left them like that. I always hoped she would
return. I thought maybe the series would end with her
coming back. It never happened, I for one was disappointed
because of that.

Welcome to the board Jessie. I was also very disappointed at the way Pam was written out of Dallas. I also hoped and prayed that Pam would come back and reunite with Bobby and Christopher.

There must have been better ways to write Pam out of the story when Victoria Principal decided to leave. The storyline itself was quite exciting in those hospital scenes. But it was impossible even in the soap opera that so badly injured person decides to leave. And where did she go ? At first it was thought Katherine was behind that.
