I think the first half of the dream, the first 12-13 episodes are very good. But Angelica Nero's storyline took over the whole show in the second half and it became too much like Dynasty.

Abby Cunningham, great thoughts on season 8. I agree with you 100% about season 8. What did you think of the back cover art for the season 8 (season 9 on DVD)? I don't like the back cover for the new DVD's coming out in July. I think the back cover could have been more creative. The back cover gives away the whole dream plot line with two pictures from the final episode of the dream season.

I do not like the back cover either. The front cover is not bad, but so unusal/different from other previous season s DVD cover arts. The back cover makes us revealed that Bobby is going to return in the shower, and the whole season was only Pam s nightmare. BTW, Mark and Pam s wedding scene! Off! and U R right the back cover gives away the whole season plot line with those pictures from ep. Blast from the past. Sue Ellen s picture is good, cos she was very good in season 8, and has interesting storylines. Angelica was only a dream, and a one season character, but her storylines makes the show like Dynasty. I would rather put pictures with Ray and Donna or a picture from the mourning era. I like the back cover partically, I am sorry. And the comments on the back cover of the DVD is nor very interesting either. I agree with you 100% Mark. Your comments aren't too harsh at all about the back of the DVD cover. I was laughing as I was reading the back DVD cover to my dad because I found out it so funny and very STUPID at the same time.

Thats true, it must be annoying for new fans to see a picture of Bobby in the shower.

The dream Season was a bit strange one. Not only for that reason Bobby wasn´t there. The storyline contained some ambitious attempts to create something new for Dallas. And I would say it had success in it in 75%. I don´t remember why did Patrick Duffy come back to the show. Was he invited or was that his own choice ? But I think though it was a "dream season" it didn´t lose its value though some good storylines were forgotten when Bobby came back.

I am currently re-watching this season of Dallas on DVD.
