Chapter 18

Sanda got up, she went to the washroom, she came out asking Reid if he needed to go?

"I'm fine but I'm starving"

"I was going to make breakfast, what would you like"?

"Egg Omelet if you don't mind"

"Sure do you have any ingredients you would like in it"?

"Whatever you like, I basically like everything"

Sanda smiled as she walked to the kitchen, Reid laid back, and smiled at Tegan who was staring at him.

'Bud what are you thinking"?

Sanda looked out, and smiled seeing Reid talking to Tegan. Her Parents always laughed when she talked to him, but she heard them too, Tegan was a good listener. She could tell Tegan liked Reid, and that was so important. Sanda was setting the table, she buttered the toast, and put the omelet on the plate. She poured two cups of coffee, and than ran over getting Tegan's breakfast. He heard her, and came running he was like Reid he loved his food. She put fresh water, and food down, he was eating it. She walked to the living room, and helped Reid up, and they walked to the kitchen. He sat down she put the pillow behind his back.

"You could have ate on the couch bed"?

"No I need exercise my back gets sore"

"I will get your pills"

"I'm fine this moment eat Sanda"

Sanda sat down, and smiled as Reid took a bite of the omelet, and he whispered.

"Oh this is good, you put onion in it, I love onion"

"My Dad loves Onion, I always put onion in it"

They were talking, Reid was more a listener, Sanda was talking about her friend, and her Parents, he could see she missed them a lot"

"You miss your Family Sanda"?

"Yes, but we see each other a lot, they are amazing Reid"

"You are lucky, I never really had much of a family life"

"Oh that is sad where are your parents'?

"My Dad is alive he is living in Dallas, but my Mom died when I was in high school. I miss her she was fun, and she could light a room, you remind me of her Sanda."

"She sounds amazing, I'm so sorry Reid"

"It happened so long ago, I do miss her"

"What about your Dad"?

"We never keep in touch he is to busy to care what is going on with me"

"Reid he is your Father you don't want to regret all the lost time"

'Tell him that, I called him last Christmas, and he never called me back, I gave up"

Sanda reached over taking his hand in hers, and whispered. "You will love my family, they will love you I just know it"

"I hope so , I'm going to marry their daughter in the very near future"

"I can't believe we are talking marriage we just met Reid"

"Hey the heart wants what the heart wants"

"I feel the same way Reid"

"I just want this cast off because when I marry you, I want to dance with you, and we have to go on a long honeymoon, I so need a holiday"

"You are not working so it kind of is a holiday"

"Well you being here is making it fun, but this cast sucks"

"Yeah"

"Sanda lets get out of the house, and go out to lunch later, and go to a afternoon show what do you think"?

"Reid your cast, the pain you need to rest"

"Please I want to get out of here"

Sanda smiled, "OK but you have to listen to me, and if your in pain you must tell me"

"I will promise"

Sanda said ok, they both finish eating, Sanda helped Reid to the washroom where she helped him clean up, and get changed to go out for lunch, and a movie.

Cute update Jessie. Reid, Sanda, and Tegan are so cute and adorable together. I love that Reid and Sanda are going to lunch and to a movie. I can't wait for Sanda and Tegan to meet Jacob. I also wait to read about what Katie is going to say about them being engaged to be married so quickly after meeting. Thank you so much for updating this story for me.

Chapter 19

Sanda and Reid left the house, Sanda had trouble getting him into the car but she managed. She ran around, and got in the Driver seat, and smiled asking him where they should go to eat?

"I don't know I love everything but I'm craving a steak how about we go to Kelsey's"

"Sure I think there is one on Main street right"?

"Yes, and the theater is close to it, are you as hungry as me"?

"I'm starving lets go are you buckled up"?

"Yes I'm ready"

Sanda smiled as she started the car, and they were off to Kelsey's. Sanda found a parking spot close to the door of the restaurant. She ran around, and got the crutches out of the backseat, and opened Reid's door. She helped him out and handed him the crutches. She locked her door, and they went inside. The got a lovely table by the window, and sat down the waitress handed them a menu.

"Thank you"

The waitress asked what they would like to drink. Reid almost said a beer but with his medication he can't drink not even one so he asked for a Pepsi. Sanda said she would love a diet Pepsi, the waitress said she would give them a few moments to look at the menu.

"So your going to have a steak Reid"

"Yes with sweet potato fries, and a small salad what about you Sanda"

"I think I will have steak too maybe I will have what your having it sounds good"

"It is I come here a lot I hate cooking for myself. My freezer is full of TV dinners I'm not a cook but I make a mean sandwich"

"Well I will love for you to make me one someday"

"I will" They smile as the waitress brings their drinks, they ordered their lunch. They were talking and laughing when Katie walked over with Henry and said hi.

"Reid I was going to come and see you today I was shocked seeing you here today"

"I'm shocked seeing you , and Hank here too"

"Henry asked me out to lunch, Chris couldn't meet us he is busy at work"

Henry smiled, "Covering for you Oliver"

"Oh I feel for the guy I have covered for him many days"

"Chris never complained Henry stop bugging Reid"

"I wasn't Oliver is just sensitive, but who is this lovely lady"

"Hank this is my friend Sanda she is my Nurse but more important she is making my life pretty great right now"

Katie giggled , "Oh my Reid"

Reid smiled, "You two just leaving"?

"No we just came in would you like us to join you". Reid wanted to say no but Sanda told them to sit she would love for them to join them. Henry smiled as he sat close to Sanda making Reid a little uneasy but he looked at Sanda.

'Sanda your a Nurse you must get your money's worth taking care of Reid he must be a nightmare"

"No he has been pretty amazing he makes my job easy"

"Really Oliver"

"Yes Reid are you , and Katie married"?

"No she is going to marry Chris, I'm single, how about you Sanda"?

Reid put his drink down, and leaned over, and said.

"She is taken so back off Hank"

"Oh sorry your married"?

"No I'm not married"

Reid smiled as he whispered, "Not yet but I can see her as a pretty bride in the very near future"

Katie smiled she couldn't believe it Reid was falling for Sanda, and she couldn't be more happy for him.

Cute update Jessie. Reid and Sanda are so cute and adorable together in this chapter. I LOVE that Henry was making a play for me in front of Reid at lunch and that Reid told Hank to back off becuae I was taken. LOL ;D I think that Reid should tell Henry/Hank that he loves me during lunch so that Henry/Hank gets the message that I am taken. LOL ;D

Thanks Sanda thanks for being so supportive of my stories it keeps me writing recently I feel like giving up, and saying I should catch up on my movies, and TV shows I bought, and haven't watched yet. I know you enjoy my stories so thanks for making me feel like I'm not wasting my time, but sometimes it feels like it is a big old waste of my life.

Chapter 20

Henry and Katie sat down, the four of them were talking. Reid reached over holding Sanda's hand as they listened to Henry go , and on about nothing really important. Katie smiled as Henry stopped, and said.

"Oh by the way Reid I had a threesome with Katie, and Chris it was amazing".

"That is cool Henry". Reid didn't hear what he said but Sanda did, and she was shocked as Katie smacked Henry's arm.

"Excuse me what is wrong with you Sanda will think I'm some kind of sex addict, and I would never have a threesome"

Reid smiled, "Oh my God Henry you are to much"

"You too Reid I said it because you were not listening to me. Do you ever hear what I say"?

"Only when your saying something important, and that isn't often".

Sanda squeezed Reid's hand, and gave him a look.

"That was out of line I'm sorry but my mind was somewhere else"

"Yes we know you can't keep your eyes off of Sanda Reid" Henry said making Sanda blush.

"I'm so sorry Henry has no manners and Reid you are just as bad sometimes" Katie said

"Can we order dinner and just enjoy our lunch" Reid said, Sanda said that would be nice if they all could just get along.

Katie whispered, "Would you like to join me in the bathroom Sanda"?

"Sure but you, and Henry should order your meals first"?

Katie smiled, "Reid you know I love a Chicken Salad with Garlic Bread, and a diet coke"

Reid smiled , "We ordered already so I will place your order Katie"

Sanda and Katie walked away as Henry smiled at Reid, and whispered.

"You are something she was your Nurse, and now your out on a date"?

"Sort of we have to eat"

"She is cute I remember once I had a nurse she looked like Mrs. Doubtfire"

Reid looked at him, and Henry laughed.

"You have not seen the movie Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams it is hilarious"

"No I don't watch much movies I'm a sports guy"

"Can I give you a word of advice"?

"You will give it to me even if I say no right"

"Yes pretend to love what she loves like movies, and silly TV shows. I have learned the hard way they don't take kindly if you say what they like is crap"

"I would never say what she likes is crap Henry I'm not that bad"

"Oh you will be when they want to read you People Magazine articles or want you to watch Young and the Restless"

"I know what Young and the Restless is the Nurses watch that crap all the time in the lounge, and I drive them crazy by criticizing people on the show."

Henry laughed, "I watch that crap with Katie all the time, I have grown to love it, and don't laugh but I would do anything to have a life of one of those lucky guys on the soaps"

"Hank they are not real"

"I know but they make life look easy, and the ladies they get"

"Henry you need to find a lady you are losing it"

"I know you found one before me how fair is that"

"See if someone like me can find someone as sweet as Sanda maybe there is someone out there for you to Hank"

Henry smiled as Sanda sat down, and Reid actually got embarrassed knowing Sanda heard him.

Katie sat down the waitress came over, and took Henry's and Katie's order, and said she would bring Reid and Sanda's food once theirs was ready.

Cute update Jessie. Reid and Sanda are so cute and adorable together in this chapter. I LOVE Reid and Henry were arguing about watching the The Young and the Restless and calling it crap becuase me and Katie like to watch that soap opera. LOL ;D This chapter made me laugh. Chapter 21

They were eating their food when Reid asked how Jacob was.

"He is OK he loves school but there is a boy he says bugs him all the time"

"Bugs him" Reid said

Henry put his fork down, "He is a Bully Katie say it like it is. He makes fun of Jacob, and calls him names, and he has everyone saying he is a orphan since his Daddy is dead"

Sanda whispered, "That is awful poor Jacob"

"Henry I went to the school, and they said they will take care of it. I don't want to cause trouble the boy is 6 years old"

"Katie have you talked to his Parents"?

"No Jacob would freak out he wants me to forget about it"

"I'm going to have a talk with him Katie"

"Reid he will be fine and if I need your help I will ask"

"Katie I was bullied as a child, and it sucks big time. You have to do something if it gets worse"

"God Henry why did you bring this up we were having a good lunch"

"I asked how Jacob was why wouldn't you tell me Katie"

"Reid I wasn't hiding anything from you, I know you get upset easy, and I don't want that"

"Fine I won't stick my nose in where it doesn't belong. Please excuse me I have to use the restroom"

Reid got up everyone could see he was upset.

Katie turned, and looked at Henry.

"See what you have done"

"I know the guy loves Jacob, I thought he would know what to do"

"I'm his Mom , and beside Chris said it is better not to get involved."

Sanda spoke up, " I think Reid is amazing wanting to get involved. He loves Jacob, and telling him you don't need his opinion hurt his feelings"

"I didn't mean to hurt his feelings, I don't know what to do."

"Let Reid talk to Jacob, and see what he says to him. He might be more open with Reid maybe he doesn't want to upset you"

Henry smiled, "I think she is right Katie would it hurt if Reid talked to Jacob"

"Jacob loves Reid you know it wouldn't hurt"

Reid came back he sat down, and picked up his fork, and was about to eat.

"Reid I'm sorry I hurt your feelings that was not what I wanted. I love you for loving my son, and he adores you so much. I just want him to feel safe going to school, but I don't want him to get more upset because we got involved."

"Having a blind eye , and not confronting a Bully is just as bad as being one. This young boy is hurting himself he is so angry, and torn up inside he wants to hurt others like he is hurting. I know what it feels like being afraid to go to school, I had stomachache every day of school. I would be so happy when a day or two would go by, and I would let my guard down, and wham the kid was at me again. He didn't hit me it would have been better being verbally abused everyday was worse. Jacob is the most well adjusted young boy, and if this kid takes that away from him shame on all of us for sitting back, and allowing it."

Henry, Sanda and Katie stare at Reid knowing what he just said is the truth.

Great update Jessie. Reid and Sanda are so cute and adorable together in this story. I LOVE how supportive Sanda is of Reid in this chapter and I am so glad that she spoke up for Reid and told Katie to let Reid help her with Jacob becuase he is being bullied at school. I hope that Reid and Sanda will be able to help Katie, Henry, and Chris with Jacob. Jacob is so lucky to have all of these amazing people in his life. Chapter 22

They all finished eating, and after Katie asked Reid if he wanted to take Jacob out tomorrow since it is Saturday. Reid said he would love to have his talk with him, but he asked Sanda to be there. They could go to the park, and have a lovely lunch, than have the talk. Katie said that was fine she knew Jacob would love it. Henry and Katie left, Sanda sat beside Reid, and reached over, and held hands.

"Reid I love how much you love Jacob, and how you stood up for Jacob was amazing"

"How you stood up for me was amazing, I know I'm not his real Uncle or family member but I feel like he is. I know what it is like to be hurt by other children at school, and this Bullying has to end no child should go to school hungry, sick or being bullied. I can't believe it has not ended yet"

"I agree , and I feel Jacob will let you know how he is dealing with the problem"

"How did I luck out finding a Angel like you in my life"

Sanda giggled, "I love that you think I'm a Angel, and I would do anything for you"

"I know you proved it today, are you ready to go to a movie"?

"Sure"

Reid paid they left their car parked in the parking lot near the Theater. Sanda and Reid held hands as they walked to the Theater, and went inside, and were looking at the list of films. Sanda was quiet, and Reid whispered.

"What would you like to see"?

"You pick"

"No I would like to know your suggestions".

"You may not like my suggestion Reid".

He smiled Sanda pointed to the film Safe Haven, and Reid smiled he asked, and he got his answer. Reid walked over, and bought 2 tickets for the movie, and walked over handing her one.

"Reid you didn't have to do this what film would you have picked"?

"This one of course"

Sanda giggled, "You are just being kind this is the last film but I heard good things about it, but don't be surprised if I cry"

"No way don't cry"

"I cry at sad films". Reid pulled her close, and gave her a kiss, and than whispered.

"Well I will comfort you Angel". They turn, and a few ladies were staring, and Sanda could tell by their faces they wanted a man like Reid. She saw couples in love so she knew the look because she looked at other couples the same before hoping someday she would be in her husbands arms. She smiled, and they went inside. They just ate but he bought popcorn, and pop, and went into the theater. The got a seat, Reid and Sanda were sharing popcorn, and talking waiting for the film to start. They look over, and the same four ladies were smiling, and looking over at them. Reid turned to Sanda, and whispered.

"Lets give them something to look at" He moved close , and brought his lips over Sanda as they kiss, and they were carried away in the moment they didn't hear the ladies say.

"Oh man she is lucky".
