Great update, I wonder what will happen next? Will Jessie feel horrible, and push JR away, or will she keep the affair going. I feel sorry for Jim, but I feel bad for Jessie too being in a marriage that isn't fulfilling, but Jim seems like a good guy. I love this story, it is one of my favourites.

Ch 7
Jessie managed to avoid R for a few weeks. As it turned out he went to Paris for a business trip. When he returned he called Jessie into his office.
“Did you miss me?” he asked.
Jessie nodded. She knew that he knew that she did.
“I brought you back something.”
“You didn’t have to,” she grinned, then opened the box. Inside was a beautiful evening gown with the price tag that read ten thousand dollars. She was shocked.
“JR what’s this for?” “The Oil Baron’s ball is this Saturday night and I want you to go with me. No one will know you. It’s a private affair. I will take you in the back so there will be no cameras or anything. You won’t know anyone and I’ll give you another name. It will be exciting,” his blue eyes twinkled.
Jessie couldn’t believe what she was hearing. How in the world was she going to get away with this? She knew of some couples who pretended to be strangers and met at bars-this was a high stakes version of that. Nothing exciting like that ever happened to her. JR was dangerous. He lived on the edge and he was bringing her along for the ride. She smiled wickedly and decided to show him her answer. She unbuttoned her dress and let it fall to the floor, giving JR a clear view of one of his most favorite pleasures in life.
When she asked Melinda to cover for her she had no choice but to tell her what was going on.
“You’re sleeping with your boss?”
“Don’t say it like that Melinda. You make it sound so cheap.
“Isn’t it?”
Jessie looked down.
“Don’t tell me you’re in love with him?”
Jessie looked at her.
“What about Jim and Hannah?”
“Melinda don’t lecture me. I can’t help how I feel. I know its wrong but I don’t want to hurt anyone. But he makes me feel things I’ve never felt in my entire life. He’s the man that makes my dreams come true. I don’t expect you to understand but I hope you will support me the way I would you,” Jessie said firmly.
Meinda began to cry. “You’re right. I just don’t want you to get hurt. But I’ll be there for you.”
They hugged, not knowing what the future held for Jessie.

Ch 8
It was the night of the ball and Jessie was having a wonderful time. She’d never experienced anything like that. She was treated wonderfully, like the belle of the ball. People were so good to her. She was having so much fun, she didn’t even notice the tv camera filming.
But Jim did. All of a sudden everything made sense. The new outfits, the late nights ,all of the hours on the computer. Jessie had made him out to be the biggest fool in the world. And with JR Ewing. He’d heard all about him. JR was an egomaniac, who took what he wanted no matter what the consequences. He thought the world was his to own. didn’t he know Jim’s wife was not for sale? There would be consequences of this affair; Jim would not be the only one left picking up the pieces.
So he called Melinda and said there was an emergency and that Jessie was in trouble but didn’t go into much more detail. So he gr4abbed his gun and waited, biding his time. He was tired of being made a fool of in his life. People at work walked all over him. He was stuck in middle management with nowhere else to go. And now he had a wife who was unfaithful. He had nothing much else to live for. This was all her fault.
Finally they came out. JR and Jessie appeared, looking like the glamorous couple they were. Shots rang out, and the intended target fell to the ground, all traces of life gone forever. Four lives, ruined, all because of an affair spun wildly out of control.

Second chapter today
Ch 9
It was all over the news. The great JR Ewing was dead. Jim was arrested and Jessie was in a great stated of shock. She could not be consoled. She’d lost the love of her life in a flash, brutally murdered in front of her very eyes. She still wore the dress splattered with blood when she finally arrived home.
She could see that Melinda knew. It was obvious she’d been crying. Jessie couldn’t cry. She was in too much a state of shock to break down.
“Come on honey. Let’s get you in a pair of pajamas,” Melinda suggested.
“No, don’t touch me. This is all I have left. He’s gone.”
“I know but you can’t let Hannah see you in that.”
Jessie knew Melinda was right. She showered and changed and came back down.
“There, isn’t that better?” Melinda asked.
“Better? Better? It will never be better. Hannah lost her father and I lost my husband and also the man I loved. Tell me how I’m supposed to be better,” Jessie demanded.
For once Melinda didn’t know what to say. She took her friend’s hand and held it, praying she would be okay.
000
At the funeral, even though most people had never met her, they knew who she was. During JR’s final months he had been happier than they had ever knew him. He hadn’t changed much; he was still a scoundrel, cheating and dirty dealing others. But he had learned to put family first. He took his mama out to dinner a little more often; he and Bobby went out to lunch at least once a week. Most surprisingly of all he and Gary had finally buried the hatchet. JR had seen how unhappy Jessie was in her marriage and had realized life was too short for arguments that didn’t matter in the end. Jessie really made a better man out of him.
But what good did her influence do now that he was gone? Jessie would gladly take the mean, stubborn, prideful JR back, if she could just hold him in her arms one more time. Bobby walked over and held her. It wasn’t the same.
“I miss him so much Bobby.”
“I know you do. I do too. We all do.”
“It’s not fair. I shouldn’t be here. You all probably hate me. It’s all my fault.”
“Jessie no one blames you. You didn’t know what your husband was going to do,” Bobby reassured you.
“Well I blame myself. And I’ll never forgive myself for as long as I live.”

this is a happier ending, I hated killing JR, he was my favorite on Dallas but there was a reason, this chapter will show you why. Thanks for reading and thanks Sanda and Jessie for your wonderful comments.
Jessie went to Ewing Oil to get the rest of her things. She stared at his name on his office, where they had had so much fun. Leaning against his door, she could almost feel him pressing her against it.
“No JR we can’t keep doing this.”
“I don’t need you.”
“Liar.” They both broke out into laughter before picking up where they left off. Jessie smiled. She sure was going to miss this place. Suddenly she ran to the restroom, sick. Her nerves were shot. She hadn’t been able to eat or sleep since “it” happened. She looked terrible. She was tired all the time. Melinda came over to help out with Hannah so Jessie could sleep. Suddenly Jessie had a thought, a terrible, wonderful thought.
Jessie drove to the drugstore and picked up three pregnancy tests. She called Melinda, who came right over.
“You have to tell me what they say. I can’t stand it,” Jessie said.
Melinda smiled. “What do you want the answer to be?”
“I don’t know. I’m so confused. Just tell me.”
“Congratulations. You’re going to be a mother again!”
Jessie and Melinda both broke down in tears. Jessie knew it was JR’s; he was the only one she had been with. She couldn’t believe it; a part of him would live on. She would always have something to remember him by. Now the question was what would she tell Hannah? And what would she tell the Ewings?

MelindaJo, I agree with Jessie that it is bittersweet that Jessie is pregnant with JR's baby after her husband Jim killed JR. I also wonder if Jessie had a little boy or a little girl and how Hannah took the news about her mother being prengant again. Thank you so much MelindaJo for writing this awesome story for Jessie for all of us to read on my awesome message board.

This chapter is sad Chapter 11 Every time Jessie got sick, it was just another reminder of the life growing inside of her. She had mixed feelings about it. One day she was thrilled and had hope; the next she was devastated and depressed. She had told Hannah, and she was confused but took it well. She just hated seeing her mommy so sad and started seeing the counselor at school, unknown to Jessie. After she got Hannah off to school, Jessie would slip back into her pajamas and lie back down in bed. She held on to her picture of JR and would cry herself to sleep. Sometimes she would dream that JR was coming back to her and she and him and Hannah would run off to a tropical location and they would be the family that she had always fantasized about. Then she would wake up and the pain would start all over again. Just when she had thought that the tears had run out a fresh batch would pour out again. She knew she had to be brave for Hannah and her baby and that JR would want her to go on. He would hate seeing her like this. But she couldn’t help it. She had given her whole heart to JR, and he had taken it with her when he left. One day Jessie got up to go check the mail. She was still in her pajamas and her hair was a mess. The sun was shining and her eyes were hurting from the brightness of it. What was in the mailbox caught her totally by her surprise. The address was from Paris and the name on it was JR Ewing. This couldn’t be. He was gone. Her heart must have stopped and she couldn’t breathe. Jessie ran to her bedroom and didn’t even shut the door behind her as she ran to open the envelope. My dearest Jessie, I hope right now you are missing me as I miss you, if that is possible. I knew I cared about you, but I can honestly write you and tell you that it is more than a simple feeling I have for you. I now know that it is love I feel for you. Yes, Jessie. I love you. I’ve been meaning to tell you that for some time now but I’ve never been able to work up the courage or find the time. So here I am, many miles away, and you must think of me as a coward, but I hope you think of me fondly, and I hope you know that I am a man of my word. The next trip I take I hope will be with you. Yours forever, JR Jessie read the letter several times, her tears blurring his signature before she set it down on the bed. The ending of it tore her heart apart. There would never be a trip together. Their final adventure together was his fatal one; her husband had made sure of it. Jessie couldn’t believe it; JR loved her. It wasn’t her imagination. It wasn’t just a fling or just sex. It was real. It was love. Jessie started laughing. He would have been happy to know that he was going to be a father. Now she knew what she had to do. It was time to face the Ewings.

ch 12
“Hi Mrs. Ewing, thank you for meeting with me and my daughter. I realize this is probably difficult for you, and to be honest this is hard for me too, but I thought it was really important that we meet,” Jessie started at Raoul served her some lemonade and Hannah went to play within eyesight.
“I’ll be honest, it’s my curiosity as well as my hospitality that has brought you here. I have to say you have a wonderful little girl. How is she doing throughout all of this?” Miss Ellie asked. “And please, call me Ellie, or Miss Ellie as others do, if you like.”
“Thank you, Miss Ellie,” Jessie smiled. “Hannah’s doing all right. I found out from school she’s been seeing the therapist there. She doesn’t know too much except that she won’t be seeing her daddy for a long time. She’s quite sad about that.”
“That’s understandable. Most children would have a hard time understanding something like that.”
“But there’s something else that has her confused, but happy at the same time. That’s actually the reason I’m here.”
Miss Ellie looked at her strangely.
“I don’t know how to tell you this, and I wish it weren’t underneath these circumstances, but I know he would want you to know. Miss Ellie, I’m having a baby.”
Miss Ellie said nothing for a minute, until Jessie realized that she hadn’t put two and two together due to her grief.
“I’m having JR’s baby.”
Miss Ellie covered her mouth and tears came to her eyes as she began to process what this meant. A new baby- a grandchild! JR’s baby. This was almost too good to be real.
“Jessie, are you sure?”
“Yes, I have the ultrasound right here. I go for another one next week. I’ll be finding out what it is. Would you..would you like to go with me?” Jessie asked nervously.
“Oh yes,” the Ewing matriarch got up and embraced Jessie. “That would mean the world to me. This is a miracle. You know that it is don’t you?”
“I do now. At first I didn’t know what to think of it but every time I feel my stomach I feel connected to him and it’s like he’s still here…”
“Now Jessie, have you thought about your future? Where will you and Hannah and the baby live? How will you support yourself?”
“I haven’t thought about it. I’ll get a job. I promise I won’t let anything happen to the baby,” Jessie said, scared.
“No, that’s not what I meant dear. What I’m asking for..what I would really like..is for you and Hannah to come live with me here at Southfork. Please don’t tell me no. It would break my heart all over again to know there’s part of my son out there that I couldn’t be with whenever I wanted.”
“I would never deny you..”
“You don’t understand. This baby is all I have left of my son. I owe it to him to take care of you and your children. Please, nothing would make me happier than to share my home with you all. “
Jessie started to cry as she nodded her head. No more words were spoken; none were needed. They both looked around and everywhere they saw they could sense that JR was still with them, watching over his final deal.
