Chapter 7
Bobby and Christopher are by Pam's side when she delivers a beautiful and healthy baby girl at 7:00pm. Dr Danvers and Nurse Johnson let Bobby cut the umbilical cord. After the baby is born Bobby tells Pam "Happy Valentine's Day" Bobby also tells Pam that he loves her and that she gave him the best Valentine's Day present ever. Pam tells Bobby that she loves him very much. Nurse Johnson then takes the baby to weigh it and clean it up. Bobby goes with Nurse Johnson to make sure that everything is alright with the baby and to take some pictures of the baby. Nurse Johnson tells Bobby and Pam that their baby weighs 8 lb 15oz. Nurse Johnson asks Bobby and Pam what they plan to name their daughter. Bobby and Pam tell the nurse that they are going to name their daughter Ellie Rebecca Ewing after both of her grandmothers. Nurse Johnson tells them that Ellie Rebecca is a very beautiful name for their daughter. Dr. Danvers pulls Bobby over to the side and tells him that he is very lucky that Pam didn't pull out any of his hair during delivery.
After the nurse cleans up the baby, she hands over the baby to Bobby. Bobby is in tears when he holds his baby daughter for the first time. Bobby tells Pam that he can't believe that they created this beautiful little girl on the night they reconciled. Bobby then hands over Ellie Rebecca to Pam. Christopher is sitting on the bed next to Pam. Dr Danver and Nurse Johnson leave the room so that the new family can have some time alone together as a family.
After 30 minutes Bobby goes out into the hall to the family that Pam gave birth to a beautiful 8lb 15oz baby girl. Bobby also tells them that they decided to name the baby Ellie Rebecca Ewing after both of her grandmothers.
The family spends the next hour visiting with Bobby, Pam, Christopher and Ellie Rebecca Ewing. The whole family is soo totally in love with Ellie Rebecca. When it is time for the family to leave Miss Ellie tells Bobby and Pam that she is going to take Christopher to Southfork with her so that Bobby and Pam can spend the rest of Valentine's Day with their daughter. Christopher picks up his bag that he brought to the hosptial with him and then he kisses his mother, daddy, and the new baby Good Night and leaves with the family.
Bobby and Pam are finally alone with Ellie Rebecca laying on Pam's hospital bed.
The End

Thank you Melinda Jo for the wonderful comments about my story Our Newest Valentine. I know that Bobby would have been an amazing father to a little girl. I agree that this is the way that it should have happened on the show.

Sanda I reread this awesome story. Poor Pam in labor but I'm glad the family was supportive. I like the part where JR and Cliff had a heart to heart that was a nice touch. Too bad Bobby and Pam didnt have a daughter in the show. you really put in nice little touches with your stories that make them fun reading.

MelindaJo, thank you so much for your awesome comments about my Bobby and Pam story. MelindaJo, I so wanted Bobby Ewing and Dr. Reid Oliver to be daddies to little girls. OMG Bobby and Reid would be so sweet and so protective of their daughters. I agree that it is so sad that Bobby and Pam didn't get to have a daughter together on the show.
