I thought I would start a thread where we could discuss our favorite moments from Pam's dream without BADMOUNTHING Patrick Duffy or blaming him for the dream solution used to bring back on the show, etc like he gets blamed for ruining Dallas on the Ultimate Dallas forum etc.. I will admit that I don't like season 8 very much because Bobby isn't on the show but it was a lot better than seasons 10 thru 13 wihout VP.

Some of my favorite moments in season 8 were: 1. Pam blaming herself for Bobby's death 2, Pam telling Christopher about Bobby's "death" 2. Pam and Miss Ellie talking about why Bobby was at her house so early the morning he was killed. 5. JR and Pam's fight in Bobby's office on her first day at work at Ewing Oil 6. The reading of Bobby's Will 7. Pam driving around after the reading of Bobby's "will" and almost hitting the tractor. 8. Pam and Miss Ellie's speeches on Bobby's behalf at the Oil Baron's Ball when he won Oil Man of the Year! I have alot more favorite moments of season 8.

My favourite Pam scenes in The Dream:
: Pam's speech at The Oil Baron's Ball.
: Her scene's with J.R working at Ewing Oil.
: Pam and Sue Ellen talking about Sue Ellen falling in love with J.R again. I love all Sue Ellen and Pam scenes.

I agree Sandra. Season 8 was much better than seasons 10-13. But then, with the exception of Bobby the rest of the cast was still present. Season 8 is not appointment TV. Or would I buy the DVD.
1. Oil Barons Ball 2. Reading of Bobby's will. 3. Pam & Jenna's reconciliation discussion. 4. Pam & Jenna's who was supposed to marry Bobby discussion. 5. Pam and Mark arguing over Pam working in Bobby's office. Mark stating he can't compete with Bobby's ghost. 6. Mark and Pam making up from argument. Having a compustable moment as Pam crawls into Marks bed. 7. Pam's discussion with either Mark or Matt about finally moving on and letting Bobby's dreams go. 8. Pam wakes up in the morning and opens her shower door and.......

Bruce, I will definitely buy season 8 on DVD just to say I owned Pam's dream. I personally thought it was a creative storyline idea for the time. BTW Bruce I guess you aren't going buy any of seasons 10 thru 13 without VP. In my opinion the way they wrote out VP didn't take any brains at all considering they had 2 years notice that she was quitting.

Bruce, You should definitely buy Season 8 of Dallas. Apart from Angelica Nero and The Emerald Mines Plot I liked the dream season.

Bruce, I definitely agree with Abby Cunnningham should buy season 8 on DVD. It is a wonderful season minus Angelica Nero and the Emerald Mines.

I'll think about it the DVD again. I agree, I didn't like Angelica and that whole storyline. The emerald mine was weak as well. But for me, the storylines that you both probably enjoyed , I didn't. I was a big Bobby and Pam fan. They were co-number 1's with me. I didn't like seeing Pam, Ellie and Christopher moving on with their life in season 8. It always felt to me that Bobby was being replaced. Now I realize that in real life, we must move on if we are going to find any happiness. And in fictional Dallas, Bobby would have wanted his loved ones to move on and not greive forever. I've always found myself watching Dallas and being very protective of the Bobby/Pam relationship. Hence my feelings about season 8. Did I just use the word hence. Time for this post to end.

I am very protective of the Bobby and Pam relationship as well. If fans would have just watched season 7 more closely: the writers were setting it up for Pam and Christopher to move on without Bobby becuase of the storyline of Pam searching for Mark Graison in season 7 (believe me I don't like Mark Graison) becuase Patrick Duffy had given the writers two years notice that he was going to quit the show and to kill Bobby off. In 1985 the fans of Dallas along with the tabliods went ballistic when Swan Song aired and said it was huge mistake to kill Bobby off the show etc. I didn't like seeing Pam and Christopher moviing on without Bobby either. How else would you have brought Bobby back on the show other than the dream solution which most people said was an insult to their intelligence.

I know, that many fans do not like season 8. I like it very much. There was not a season where the women were so strong. Pam was stronger as earlier (as strong as in the miniseries) and Pam was so beautiful in that season. And always:) However Bobby missed from season 8, I can tolerate Mark and Pam as a pair. But I could not watch a season more with Mark and Pam.

Season 8 is currently airing on Soap Net. I definitely DON'T LIKE how fast Pam moved on with Mark Graison. The way the writers had Pam moving on with Mark Graison and in bed with him was a disgrace to Bobby's memory and Patrick Duffy.

I totally agree Sanda. Mark acted like a total baby when Pam had any contact with Bobby before he left. Now after words he's worse. I also love the dream season, and the dream solution as I cant stand Mark Graison, and seeing his marriage to Pam being a "nightmare". I am also glad that my favorte Dallas star is now on, Joshua Harris .

Watching Pam and Mark as a married couple would be a nightmare. ;D I am soo happy that season 8 was wiped out as Pam's dream even though I LOVE Donna and Ray and JR and Sue Ellen's storyline that season, those were the only decent storylines that season the rest was CRAP! I am sooo happy that Joshua Harris is on as Christopher as well even though he isn't shown very much in season 8. ;D
